Is this hat foldable (suitable for transport in a suitcase)?

You can flatten in down on the top but I would not fold the rim.

What is the best way to clean this hat?

This hat is 100% polyester so washing I. Cold water is best so it’s moisture wicking properties are not affected. Hang dry do not put in dryer.

Does this hat have a chin strap?

Hello, This does not have the chin strap it has the adjustable strap on the back of the hat for tightening. Thanks.

Is brim of hat stiff?

It is stiff compared to the sun hats that are meant to look floppy; however, it is nowhere close to the stiffness of a straw hat. When worn it holds its round shape, but bows front and back.
