Nice rack - I needed adjustable supports for a project bike - hard to find at this price level

When I first bought this I thought I can bend the metal sticks to the curve of the wheel but no I can just barely curve it with a hammer. The metal is outstandingly but like I said because of that I can't even put it on my bike correctly. After one day of riding my bike on the road the screws fell of some how when I used a torque wrench so I had to use zip ties. I just finally bought another bike carrier and there are way more better once then this one for half the price.

I needed a rack for a rack trunk so I could carry a little more than just a underseat bag. While a bit heavy ( 2 lbs. naked ), the quality for the price is excellent.My bike does not have seatstay braze-ons so I bought "P" clamps at the local bike shop to mount the rack. Most hardware stores will also have these. All other necessary hardware is included with the rack.

It came in matte silver.PROS: Looks great. Simple design. Adjustable so it can fit bikes with 26in or 700c wheels, and it can fold flat for storage . It has an adapter to install to bikes with the older caliper brake.CONS: because it lacks additional support struts, like that found on the Topeak Explorer Rack, it is slightly less rigid, which may concern those who carry more than 25 lb. on their bike.The pros meets my needs, so 4 stars.

Well, I bought this rack because I need a fully adjustable rack for my bike because it folds and I have 20" wheels and rear suspension. I also wanted a silver rack, which in the adjustable rack category, is a rarity. This rack would have been perfect, except that it appears to be so cheaply made, just trying to install it has rendered it useless! First of all, the bolts on the supposedly adjustable bits (namely, the ones that allow you to adjust the length of the front arms) were screwed on so absurdly tightly when the rack arrived, that I was only able to loosen one after about 20+ mins of trying. The bolts could be made of plastic they are so soft, and will wear away with minimal effort of trying to loosen them. Also the instructions are pretty terrible. It doesn't even tell you how to adjust ANYTHING!! So what's the point of calling this thing adjustable to begin with??!??! So unless the seller is able to replace the one arm for me, this rack is going to be completely unusable to me and will have been a complete waste of money. Don't be lured in by the low price - you most definitely get what you pay for. While the rack otherwise has some weight to it and feels like it could be study, the parts are junk and this is no more adjustable than a tree trunk. No stars as of now; will comment on the seller after interacting with them.

I like this rack. My bike is hard to fit and this was the best solution I found. Easy installation, and though it’s not the most stylish rack out there, it’s proven to be pretty sturdy so far.
