So comfy!
I used this as a couch before I had furniture. It was so comfy I ended up sleeping on it several times. It did get hot, but was otherwise perfect.

Perfect. Solid. Heavy. Exactly What It Says It Is.
Like many others, I read the negative reviews before ordering. My adivce: don't put too much stock in them. Now, I admit it is a legitimate concern/critique of the product if you buy multiple units of the "same" color at once and the colors don't match. I can't speak to that. I only bought one. But some of the others I read?? Really? Claiming that it was despicably advertised as a styrofoam beanbag chair (which it wasn't), or that it has no filling and you fall to the floor? Really people? Did you not read the directions? It should be seen as a positve that they vacuum pack the sucker into an amazingly small box (considering the final size of the product) to cut on their shipping costs (and to make it possible to move the box around). It clearly states in the included information that you have to WAIT for it it attain its full expanded shape. Right away, you can get your hands "in there" and knead the memory foam blocks inside, pulling them apart (through the supple cover of course) and shifting them so that the expansion goes as fast as possible but no matter what ... you have to WAIT. They will continue to expand for some time - not exactly sure but I wouldn't be surprised if there was still some expansion going on at 7 or 8 days. One fact that people need to be aware of though (and some other reviewers have mentioned) is that this thing is BIG and it is unwieldy. Memory foam is heavy. I haven't weighed it on a scale but it would not surprise me to learn it is 20 - 30 lbs. and its size and composition makes that feel more like 50 or 60 lbs. So, even though it is a FANTASTIC chair/bag for kids, it isn't going to be easy for many of them to adjust/move it. In fact, smaller people with little hand/arm/upper body strength probably don't want to own this unless they have someone else living with them who can help them with it. My athletic and rather strong 9-year old nieceman-handled (or should I say girl-handled) the thing around but she's a tough, "get it done" kind of kid and wasn't intimidated by the awkward size or weight of the thing. The younger kids could barely shift it.To really enjoy using it, you have to be ready each time to reach in with both hands, grab the material and lift the bag up and down many times vigorously. You have to slam it, flip it, shake it, fluff it up, and mold it to a form that suits you. If you want to lie on it, hop in the middle. If you want to sit upright and watch TV, you have to heap it up high and then sit low down on the edge of the thing and push yourself backwards into it. Experiment. Have fun. Don't be shy about yanking the sucker around. One last note. Memory foam stinks. It isn't exactly a pleasant smell (though some find it more offensive than others of course) and it takes days ... perhaps weeks ... to dissipate. It didn't bother me much and obviously I'm not the kind of person to give the bag 1 star and rant about how the company lied to me because it didn't go out of its way to call out the smell specifically. I'm just trying to let anyone interested know that it does smell but it fades.

This is one big chair!! But very comfortable. And did I mention, quite large?
I bought this as part of lightning deals and I thought it still seemed pretty expensive but we wanted to give the kiddies something to sit on, lie does on and roll around on. (kids are 2.5, a little more than 3 ft tall). We considered those individual toddler seats but when we saw them in the store, we noticed our kiddies would have outgrown them too quickly. I used the picture as my guide and decided this one seemed like it's a pretty good size. Well, when I got it, it was very tightly packed in a box- i opened the box and it looked like a stuffed square full of the packing material that is slightly s shaped. I got it out of the box (had to cut the box) and let it sit for a few hours, every once in a while bouncing up and down on it. 5 hours later, it finally fell flat and it looked so sad...my husband was convinced that there was no way this was worth it.Fast forward to the new day...and I now had Jabba the Hut in my apartment. It is HUGE. It is still growing. Now, we went from "no way, it's too flat to keep" to NO WAY, It's too big to keep. (NYC, small apartment- takes up about 1/3 the living room). The biggest problem? Kids LOVE it. They are always climbing on it and jumping on it and playing on it. it still has the odd smell, 4 days in. And to me, it still seems like it's growing but luckily, up, not out. And I just don't know how I could possibly get rid of it now because the kids love their "bean bag" as they call it.To note: it really does have that odd smell. It has aired out a bit but not that much. Also, note that it is lumpy- apparently, many many of these little foam bits makes up the inside (I guess a play on the bean chair idea using foam?). It isn't unecessarily uncomfortable- it just takes some getting used to. I expected it to be smooth. Maybe it will smooth out with time. It is quite comfortable and invites tummy flopping. and it is big enough for 2 toddlers and an adult to lie on, especially if the toddlers are half lying on the adult. :oD

Not sure about the filling. It was a recycles foam mix, one piece was literally a chunk of one of those Nerf/dodge balls. But in the end it's a massive squishy seat for gaming. Now to be fair there were people complaining about hard pieces and the smell. There were a few firmer parts, from what I can tell they are areas where the original foam piece was glued/attached to another foam chunk. None of it is hard, but stiff enough to sometimes be felt. Fluff the bag and move on.As for smell, it reminded me of upholstery cleaner/sanitizer from when I helped at a hotel. It went away fairly quick, and I don't smell it at all now. Less then a week from arrival.Only thing I will say, considering also buying a heavy cushion or pillow. Line it up inside the bag under where you sit. As with a actual beanbag, you will sink and displace the filling.

i am not sure if i am happy with this...
3 things,....Firstly, it arrived today, although, on the vary last expected date of delivery, i think it could have been here earlier, as it sat in ordered state for a whole week, i didn't get charged until a few days ago, not sure what took so long to get this thing out the door unless they make them fresh from the factorySecondly, it showed up very dirty, a bit of the inside was on the bean bag itself, so it needed cleaningLastly, i feel like it could use more of the inside, its kind of flat, shouldnt it be more "puffier"?

It's actually good!
The 4 footer is quite large, it easily fits an average size adult, after 4days, it had expanded a lot and became much comfier, after a little while, you kinda sink in but you can just fluff it a bit and you're good to go again. Reading the reviews made me skeptical, but turns out this this is actually good, no big chunks of foam or whatsoever that are too annoying. Overall I think it's on the expensive side but worth it if you want something to just chill, read, game or study!

So comfy!
Super comfy, however please note this is not a bean bag, the stuffing material is foam. Not sure how that will hold up long-term but after a few weeks of use, I'm happy with it. People are delighted to just sink into it, it seems robust enough to withstand repeated jumps and it really is BIG. Perhaps a real bean filling would allow it to be molded into different shapes a little easier. As it is it does sag a little in the middle if you don't fluff it.

I've owned this big ole Fuf for over 4 months now. Many movie nights with the missus in our theatre room have been had.I was initially concerned about the foam breaking down over time, but so far it's as good as new after you fluff it up post-use (I find kicking it like a deserving enemy, or excessively large soccer ball works great). If I had one complaint, it would be missing half of the movies I watch because this thing is so comfortable I fall asleep!
