I bought the 9x6 size and I absolutely love it. The paper is thick and soft. The leather is beautiful! I like it so much I bought another one.There is one thing I feel I should mention about this journal. It only comes with 100sheets/200pages. Other than that I absolutely love this journal and decided to keep it but be aware it does come with less pages than advertised

I have now bought three of these journals one unlined, two lined. The first was for my friend for Christmas. His daughter took it almost immediately so bought two more one for my friend, the other for me. I love the quality, softness and smell of the leather, the thickness of the paper, and the key closure. The paper has that real vintage roughened feel with the deckle edges, adding to the sense of age. Writing using a gel pen there is no bleed through or smudging. With the roughness of the paper ink pens will likely catch. I’ve glued in several charts using just a glue stick. They stuck well and did not affect the paper at all.I’m using this to journal my training for three endurance races this year. When complete it will be a beautiful reminder of the year, much more so than a more typical mass produced journal. Will definitely be using these journals moving forwards.

This is a beautiful leather journal and the lined deckle paper is light and easy to write on. Seller took time to wrap up item and it was in a dust bag. I will definitely be a returning customer.

It's a beautiful journalThe leather is very good quality and evenly thick without thin spots or discolorations.The key is a bit chintzy so I removed that with a bolt cutter and slid in an antler tip instead. It fit perfectly in the loop so it's very secure.It's perfectly fine as it is but I chose to clean the leather with the leather honey brand cleaner and then I closed it when it still had the key and basically threw it against the concrete in order to distress it.I took some steel wool to it and I really gave the leather a good working before I cleaned it again and then conditioned it with leather honey.It now looks like it has been passed down for many generations.I will tell you that when I cleaned it the first time there was a bit of bleeding but since I was expecting that from previous reviews I found it to be a good thing. I don't like my leather to look new.It's very easy on the hands. Comfort level is high.I was surprised at the quality and find it to be a very good value for the money.I plan on buying more of these as I need them. I'm also looking into stamping the leather for the next one so that each journal will have a distinctive pattern.

Long and short of it was that this is nice journal, looks very rustic and quite travel worthy. I dinged it one star for a selfish reason. I like to use a fountain pen, but that is a “spotty” idea. The paper is very nice for a BALL POINT PEN, but if you want to do script, there are better writing books available. A script pen will catch every other letter, and splatter. I switched to a Dr. Grip with a medium gel tip, and it work’s beautifully. Had several comments from others, all positive. It’s very portable, fitting nicely between the smaller and larger offerings. It does not lay flat, but still allows me the ability to get complete thoughts into a written line.

The media could not be loaded. Absolutely love this journal! It is quality and class and age all in one beautiful book! The pages are thick and feel almost like cloth but they are easy to write on. The cover smells amazing and has that soft leather feel. It seems to be well bound too. Love love LOVE it 🫶🏽 worth the money all the way.
