Super easy to install and just looks awesome. My wife and I are very proud of the railings we built for our new home using VistaView's cables. We built three railings: 23', 12', and 20' long. The unobtrusive sight lines from the loft to the great room below are exactly what we wanted. We highly recommend getting the lacing needle to protect the cable from fraying while threading through posts and the release tool for those oops moments when you accidentally thread through the wrong holes. Friends are already asking about the cables.

The kits are well worth your money. These kits are high quality and look great. The instructions are easy to follow for someone who has never installed something like this before. I especially liked the drill bit size details that made thinking through the layout easier. Once the holes are drilled, they are easy to install and have your railing make a statement.I would highly recommend this product. Before purchasing from Amazon, I called the company directly (from the number on their website) and was able to talk to a person that works for VistaView and confirm I was purchasing the correct model number for what I needed. Very impressed with the brand's customer service.

Super easy highly recommend the hydraulic crimping tool and the tool that it comes with to screw into the Post gets stripped out real easy. I ended up using a very small adjustable wrench that did the trick it looks amazing pretty easy to install I would recommend sliding 2 decorative sleeves over the cables before you install them one for each side where they screw into the wall and into the post to cover the notch that you turn to screw into the post or whatever it just looks cleaner with a hollowed-out wooden dowel over the screws to give it a finished look rather than the crimped medal fastener

I regret going with these. They are incredibly expensive, especially since a standard 36” rail height will need 9 of these.Also, this isn’t a “kit”. This is misleading. Cable rail needs 1/8 sleeves for any posts, and they give you NONE.Also again, if the threaded end is going into a 4x4, you will need cut off a TON of threads since the cable-to-thread area is too big for a standard sleeve.AND no removal tool. I get it - it would be extra and wasteful to include. But they are not “impossible” to unlock and remove. Try a plastic straw.But hey, they’re pretty. Have fun if that’s all that matters.

I am a building contractor by trade, but have never installed a cable railing system. Product arrived and all parts were clearly labeled. All went together as described, with no problems. I used 4x4's for all my posts and pre-drilled all posts with a drill press in my shop. I can't imagine trying to drill straight holes in all of those posts installed on site. Once again, great product and would use again.

I used 50 ft cables to wrap my deck railing and couldn’t be more satisfied. It’s a great product. One of the cables had a defect, so I contacted the seller and had a replacement on my porch in less than 48 hours. Great service! My cousin is a contractor and just installed cables in his own home for a lot more money. He’s kicking himself after seeing the quality and value of these cables. Highly recommend!

I needed these cables to finish off a steel railing on my patio. The hardware is all good quality, and the stainless steel cable looks like it will hold up to the weather. You cut off excess cable, and there are finish caps to give the installation a clean look.

This system was easy enough to install that my husband and I did it together without arguing. Try saying that about an Ikea bookshelf!
