Place friction tape where you are placing it!
My wife has this on her bike and it works amazing! I got hit by a guy who ran a red light and it totaled my Indian Springfield. I just replaced it with an Indian Roadmaster and as I started replacing my FARCLEs (Pronounced FARKLES. It stands for Fancy Accessory, Really Cool, Likely Expensive) I went right to this gem. It's solid and will not budge, PROVIDED that you put some friction tape on the bars before install. I used cloth athletic tape and it did the job. I use a 32 oz Camelback water bottle because I ride in the southern Arizona heat and it holds it perfectly. If you are going to use a 32 oz container, DO NOT USE the provided rubber boots, they just get the way and they prevent the 32oz bottle from setting correctly. They're fine for smaller bottles, but not the large size.

Works well
This mount works well in a farm setting. Tractors/UTV etc

Very well made
Durable and functional. The xl holds a 32oz. insulated bottle very well. There are multiple ways to configure the clamp and bottle holder to get the results you want. I use it on a touring ATV, clamped to the passenger grab handle. Only shortcoming is rattling against my plastic rear rack surface. But I fixed that with a little stick on furniture cushion.

Great drink holder option for motorcycle
Simple design and easy to install. Installed it to my motorcycle and has maintained its durability during the summer with lots difderent container sizes. Can be used with or without the foam insert. Love the RAM company products. Always great value and does what it is designed to do. Can't always say that with other companies.

Do not trust this product
Cup holder popped out of holder and fell to the ground from my saddle bag guards. That attachment to the bike was rock solid like you would expect from RAM. But the plastic junk failed on my first day of use. Amazon needs to get things improved so that folks can give ratings of 0. A couple of minutes earlier, when I had it mounted on the handlebars, it woud have fallen onto my BMW motorcycle tank and I would be so pissed I wouldn't have been able to type.

Must have for a motorcycle
The ultimate bottle holder for a motorcycle! I have been using this for over two years now. I’ve had a 48 ounce stainless water bottle in it the entire time. I’ve dropped the bike (in rodeo cone patterns) and the holder has taken direct impacts from road debris. The first one lasted through 30 degree winters and 110 degree summers. It held out for about two years of daily use with removing and replacing the water bottle dozens of times a day.

Will not accommodate 32oz cup
Never got it installed. The tabs around the inside that hold the cup in place took too much room to let my 32oz tumbler slide in beyond the smaller dia bottom which would make it very top heavy & could flip over if anything loosened up. Might work if trimmed tabs back, but not worth risk. Otherwise it looked very well built & heavy duty

Holds a varitly of size bottles.
You just have to make sure you tighten it securely to the handle bar or it will slip. Once I did that it was perfect.
