We recently went to Japan and hubby was inspired by Japanese knives. Real Japanese knives are crazy expensive, but he absolutely loves these. The handles are smooth beautiful wood, the metal appears to be very good quality and performance of these knives so far in my husband’s words “ cuts everything like butter!” Also really like the magnetic acacia board, very nice touch. I’ve seen other versions on different websites for much more. Highly recommend!

I bought these as a gift to my cousin who claims to be a Chef. He hasn't used them yet. But man the Presentation was an absolute moment, it felt like imwas opening a chest of ancient history. The smell of the wood, the way it was carefully wrapped up and the finish was absolutely phenomenal.

Edit..customer service was great. The handled every thing promptly.Got for Christmas. ALWAYS dry before putting back in sheath. It's rusting after 3 months
