My son (in middle school) needed something larger for carrying his lunch (after all, he's a growing boy!). This is the perfect size without going too large, and the opening is large enough to put food in without spilling it down the outside of the container. It fits in his lunch box with no problem (a High Sierra Stacked Compartment lunch box), with room to spare for a thermos, or other items.He says his food is still really warm at lunch time, so we KNOW it lasts over 4 hours. I'm sure longer, but we haven't had to go that long. Would highly recommend!

Made solid, but the spoon is worthless. Thought it might be made of better material (plastic). Just a matter of time before it snaps.

I'm impressed with the quality of craftsmanship. No leaking things like that.The only con is that in order to keep your kid's food warm long enough, it's important to heat the food in a pot or the oven. Even then, depending on how early you heat the food, it might not make it to lunch warm at all.

Nice quality and the hidden spoon is great however the mouth is pretty narrow which makes using the spoon and eating out of the jar difficult.

We live in Florida so this is great for cold items in the summer and hot items in the winter while we are on the boat. We are able to use it for lunch as well, recently to keep meatballs hot. I might purchase another so we can both have one. Great item!

Thermos is lightweight and fits easily into backpack for hiking; keeps liquid warm just as advertised. The compact design is a good size, not too small or large; I love the retractable spoon and that it is protected within the lid. A great thermos that serves many purposes. I highly recommend this product!

Doesn't keep the food as warm as stated. I place boiling hot water in it with a closed lit for a few minutes before I can fill with the hot food of choice. Cold food does better.

Did not keep stew hot for even four hours. Seems to be okay keeping liquids cold. I would not buy it again because I wanted it to take hot foods for lunch at work.
