Unsure about replacement batteries. There is no upgrade. No quite happy with mine; it locks up and won’t turn. Lowe’s quit carrying it.

Will this battery fit the model fosh2014 as well?

No. The battery in the 2016 is removable and is plugged in a charger. In the 2014 the charger plugs into the unit and the battery is not removable.
