The Chasing Tails cat cave has been the best investment EVER. My kitty is a fussy feline - she normally gets bored of the average cat gift but NOT the cat cave. From the time of purchase she has enjoyed the comfort of this neat "cave" experience. She has always loved being under a blanket so I had a feeling prior to purchase this may be a big hit - if your cat loves the blanket experience they will love the CAVE. The cave is very well made of New Zealand wool, it's very sturdy, soft and holds it shape. It can be flattened and used as a cat bed. It can be vacuum easily, it helps keep the cat hair at bay in the home. My cat spends a lot of her time in her new cave when she is not playing. It's also a great scratching post for those cats who are not declawed. My kitty gives this review 5 BIG STARS! The cave comes in a neat cardboard box which your kitty can play in - great way to recycle...Thanks Chasing Tails - best gift ever for many years to come! Considering buying another cave so she can have one in our family room. I bought the cave primarily so she would sleep in cave at night and not wake me up laying next to me...Best idea ever!

This bed is great! High quality, well made, looks great in my living room. I have a 6 month old and two 3 month old kittens and they all love it. I have "lost" my older boy several times because he goes in, becomes one with the void, and doesn't come out for hours. Lately, it is usually in the squished position because they love bouncing on it and taking naps on top. But I just put my hand in, lift up, and it pops back to it's original shape easily (albeit a bit wrinkled).The only thing I don't love is that it isn't super easy to clean. The shape doesn't lend itself well to vacuuming and the top tends to get a bit dirty from them climbing on it. Unfortunately my babies have developed ringworm, and since this is wool, I can't put it in the wash on hot to disinfect. That's not a fault in the design though - it is just one of the few drawbacks of having something made of wool. I've been holding off on throwing it out like some of their other stuff because we all love it so much. But that's the route I'll probably have to take. I'll definitely be buying another when it clears up though!!

My cat is a rescue cat and is very suspicious of anything new in his environment, but.....it took all of 3 minutes before he was comfortably ensconced in his new cat cave! He really does love it. Also, with a furry little blanket placed in the bottom of it, I think it is keeping him nice and cozy in the colder weather we are having now. I gifted one of these to my cousin's cat in NE, and my cousin said her cat is also completely enamored of her cave :) Her cat is a bit on the large side, and she said the cave is plenty roomy for her. I would highly recommend this, especially for shy, easily intimidated cats.

Cat seems to enjoy, it's big enough that she insisted on dragging her plush toys in with her.Personally I wish the creases were easier to remove..it doesn't exactly look like the nicely shaped ones in the pictures.

Wonderfully made product. Top quality size is perfect. Cats love this so much I’m buying more. These are so cozy, perfect for resting, playing and simply enjoying. Wool is a magical and healing fabric and truly so grateful to be able to provide these for these special animals.Every Cat should have these. I unpacked this immediately because my big boy is special. He doesn't like anything to sleep on or in, but I had to try. So, my 2 nosy girls were all over me opening it, then the argument was on between them on who would exit it first! Tons of dirty looks when I kicked them out! So, my big scaredy boy... I put it on the couch, picked him up to smell it and it was on! Like a streak of lightning he was in! Now he is sleeping next to me for the very first time! I ordered 2 more so everyone has their own!!!I think it's the natural wool that's so attractive! I am amazed, just so happy 😊 Highly highly recommend. And the box is a cool little house, also the ball was a hit!

Santa brought one of these cat caves for one of our kitties for Christmas. Little did Santa know that BOTH kitties would love this item. Our girl kitty is very shy and scares easily, so we thought this cave would be perfect for helping her feel safe and protected. But BOTH she and our boy cat love to pounce on the cat cave, as well as snuggle up inside. It is easy to just pop the cave back to its original shape after being pounced on, though there are some wrinkles in the wool that have developed. Both our small girl (8 lbs) and our big boy (13 lbs) can fit in here together.... but they would rather have it all to themselves! Being wool, it is a little scratchy to my human touch, but the kitties LOVE their cave.

My cat is a little picky as to where he lays and gets cozy. Since he was going to the overnight kennel for the first time, I thought this was necessary to give him somewhere to "hide" and get comfy during his stay. Worked out better than expected and he absolutely loves it! Also a great size for a larger "boned" cat (14lbs at trim weight). Thanks for making such a great product!

My cat went inside the first day I received it. Usually he doesn't even bother or it takes him quite some time to try any cat house. Its the perfect size, my cat is 11lbs and pretty long. It also came with a boxed cat house which I thought was amazing!

Compré otra pero el perro (???) la colonizó. Son tan populares que ya voy por la tercera. Además se ven muy lindas y discretas.

I have 2 cats. 1 uses it more than the other. He likes to scratch it, go in it and lay on it. Neither have slept in it for long periods of time though. Maybe once the cold weather comes. Its very well made and cozy looking. I am pleased with its quality.
