Super comfortable. Can lose shape over the period of a few days, but it is really easy to fluff back up. I sleep so well on this mattress that I drool every time. My kids absolutely love it, as they originally has a really thin and cheap mattress that came with their bunk bed. Stitching and zipper and well constructed and feel really sturdy. This feels like it will last a really long time. Thanks.

For all you normal bed people - hey, this is a futon, not a big name coil spring mattress. It is supposed to smash down when you sit and lay on it. It has no springs, coils, etc. It's just a big flat bag of fabric and cotton batting. It is firm, but very comfortable. I use my futon as both couch and bed, and it has a dent in the middle where I sit. So this needs to be rotated and flipped regularly. Nonetheless, this is a good, basic futon, and offers a comfortable and relaxing night's sleep. It weighs just 34 pounds, so is easy to flip. There are better options on Amazon; but if you have a small budget, this is a good futon for the price. I'm happy with mine.

I am using this as a mattress on a double bed. I have arthritis in my shoulders and have tried many different mattresses including memory foam and I have tried different types of mattress toppers. This futon is squishier than I expected it to be, but, from the first day I used it I realized that my shoulders do not hurt when I get up in the morning and it is much cooler than the other mattresses I have tried. The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because once a week I need to turn it so it retains a better shape.

The middle of the mattress is hollow, it has a differential settlement, and it is impossible to seat on.The material list, product instruction, and the name of the manufacturer were not included in the package!Its strong toxic smell explains its VOC contain excesses the standard limit in furniture products, and my eyes were burning!

I read all of the reviews but took a chance anyway thinking the natural fibers would be thick enough to offer some support. This is an okay mattress that I might use for the floor for an extra kid sleepover guest. I ended up giving it away to a charity auction and put my old one back on. The best way to describe it is that this is like putting a few sleeping bags together and stacking it on your futon frame. Ok in a pinch but not an everyday sitting or sleeping type of mattress. I think I should have gotten one with springs. It shipped, folded over in a clear plastic, heavy duty bag and looked clean when I took it out. Some of the stitching was loose but overall a pretty mattress and looks like the photo. Just not what I need.

I've had this mattress for a week now. I was very impressed initially because the mattress was quite thicker than I had thought it would be (I'm sure after it's been slept in for a while it will settle). It is quite comfortable to lay on as well and should be perfect for our 14 year old.

This was a good buy to last me moving into a small apartment. I needed something quickly that would last me 6 months to a year , so i wouldn't have to go buy an air mattress. In the beginning it was really comfortable and held up, however its been 3 months since i have had it and its already loosing its shape and hold. Im a little disappointed its loosing hold so fast but i put a memory foam pad and a pillow topper on it and that has made it more comfortable. These types of mattresses are really a hit or a miss, so hard to find one that holds up for more than 6 months. If anyone can recommend a great futon mattress or company that makes them let me know. I would only purchase this if you only plan on using it a short time.
