These boots survived several years with me. I loved these boots, the only reason they don't get 5 stars is because anytime you walk on a smooth surface you squeak with every step like SpongeBob SquarePants... Which isn't the worst thing in the world I guess

Great boot, built strong, fit perfectly, cool zipper
Great pair of boots, I wore Rockports for over 20 years because they hold up. I am an ex roofer and have literally had a pair of work boots shred off of my feet in one day. 20 years ago I found Rockport and I've never had anything else. The best thing's I like about rockports is they hold up, you can beat them up on the job then put a little shoe polish on them and wear the same pair of boots on a Friday night to town.You can also take a pair of rockport's to your local shoe Smith and for 10 or $15 they will put a new sole on your shoe Rockports are not disposable, as long as the stitches on the sides hold up you can wear them for years.This is a new model for me and I like the zipper.It makes for taking the shoes off and on easier and if you just need to check the mail or something you can just zip the zipper and you're good to go.I also learned a little trick if you like your boots extra tight if you tie them first then zip them you can get a little more ankle support for when you need to get to work.I replaced the round laces with flat ones round laces can slip a little bit flat laces hold a lot better. when I come home from a hard day's work and unzip my boots my wife really likes it I think she thinks the zipper is sexy.I remember reading a review in here and somebody was complaining about they were too tight or hard to break in or something I've never had any problems with these.remember guys there's different widths.For example I am a 10.5 medium if I ordered a 10.5 small they would probably be too tight on me.

One of the best boots you'll ever bye
I just received these boats a couple days ago, and believe me these are the best pair of boots that I've had in the last 10 years they look good feel good and they are in all around Great boot I love them
