REEHUT Zafu Yoga Meditation Cushion, Round Meditation Pillow Filled with Buckwheat, Zippered Organic Cotton Cover, Machine Washable - 4 Colors and 3 Sizes

 I bought this in April and it’s now December 2018. I have not used the pillow much but noticed tiny white bugs around the pillow. When I opened the pillow, there were lots of tiny white bugs! So disappointed that I can’t return this item.

It took a little getting used to but once I found my balance and my three point sitting pose it was very comfortable.It is firm but it has give because of the buckwheat hulls, as oppsed to one with just cotton which is very firm with not much give.I personally prefer this over a cotton zafu.Im pretty flexable and pretty skinny so i got the 12x12x4.5 zafu.Basically if you can sit on a zabuton or the ground and your knees almost touch the floor in the pose you use (I use a holf lotus) then I would recommend the 4.5 height (adjust the width to your size) if you dont have much flexability in the groin and hip muscles then I would reccomend the 6 inch height.Im not sure how to recommend the 5 inch as Ive only used a 6 inch and 4.5 inch cusion.Another thing i did before I bought the zafu is I took a measuring tape and made it a foot wide and the other sizes offered and sat on it and that is how I judged what width I needed.

 Very good sturdy, comfy w a sm amount of give. May remove some buckwheat in the future-trying it out full. Looks beautiful on top of my black zafuton! Would make a very nice gift. Arrived in a few days (Dk grey no design 13x13) I am 140lb 5'4

I really like this bolster. It's comfortable to sit on, and I was afraid it wouldn't be since it's filled with what looks like shells almost. It makes it easier to sit cross legged for extended periods of time, and you can even use them during yoga with reclined positions. Kinda wanted a bigger one, but it's great for what you pay for. Even has a handy strap to carry it places if you want to.

 This meditation cushion is outstanding! I actually have another that is hard and not very comfortable. This one has the buckwheat inside of it making it very comfortable. If your a smaller size like me it's perfect! They have other sizes that will fit larger people so it's a great buy. I also love the fact that it fits right into my meditation credenza. The cushion is also very portable and I can just throw in my bag and go to meditation class. I really don't see any cons with this product I highly recommend!

I like how well it cushions and adjusts its shape. My kids are always fighting over it. However, a few things to consider. After reading one review about bugs I decided to put it in a plastic bag and seal it and put under the hot California sun for 2 days. Well, a considerable amount of moisture came out of it. Beads of water were in the plastic. Well if there could be any bugs or dust mites inside I would have thought the heat should kill it. And just for added measure I decided to throw it in the dryer at low to completely dry out any moisture left. I did notice after all this that the color faded A LOT without even using it yet. I'm still okay with my purchase but hopefully the makers might take my issues into consideration. At the price of these things they should be ready to use without any added measures the customer has to make.

I was looking at reviews for other buckwheat filled pillows, but after reading that they contained bugs, I looked elsewhere. I purchased this thinking that I could avoid that problem with this company, but I was let down. Upon zipping the cushion open and shining a flashlight, I saw little translucent bugs crawling around inside. I'm returning it right away. It may just be a thing with buckwheat, but it thoroughly made me upset.:(

A tiny bit disappointed, from the photo I assumed this would have a velvety feel rather the cotton, but that's on me.I am new to meditation and came across very fancy meditation pillows online.I figured I would stick with a cheaper one to see if it was something I could use.I LOVE this thing.I can get more serious about my mediation now because I don't have to deal with my feet going to sleep.I am not going to preach about my meditation practices, but I have been using this everyday for almost 4 months and it is still in amazing shape. Very comfortable and a perfect size.(It is also very comfortable for sitting on while gaming for hours on end.)
