would this shaw be good for a nusring home non ambulatory patient ?

It's PERFECT! My Gma had several major strokes. When I was back home, I noticed how difficult for both my Mom & Gma to put on & take her coats & jackets off & on. I had worn this poncho/wrap home with me because it's so easy to travel in. I asked Gma if she'd like to wear mine on our next outing. She couldn't talk any more but smiled & reached out to touch it. We draped it around her in her wheelchair so easily & Gma smiled all day! Different ones come in different thicknesses so some are great for inside, others are heavy enough for a MN winter. But in a nutshell, YES! These make going out easier on the care giver & on the person in a wheelchair. Especially if they don't have a full range of moment any more. It'll be a very thoughtful & loving gift!

I am 5'3" and xlarge will it fit good? Is all the material like having a blanket on?

I am pretty sure it will. It might be on a long side but it's a poncho so it's fashionable. Material is very much like light blanket. Love the colors too. Very vibrant and bright. Great buy!

How is the poncho cleaned. Dry cleaning or washed?

Hi, sorry I don't have a tag on mine anymore, however I wash it on the gentle cycle in cold water and hang to dry. It does fine. I did tie all my ends because they didn't look done well to me. I love my poncho now! Good luck hope this helps you

What is this made of?

I bought three of these, and I love them. There was a small removable sticker that said what the material was; I believe it simply said "acrylic". It is very soft and drapes beautifullly!

Lindo pero no espectacular

Es bastante grande y cubre del frío. Pero se ve mucho mejor en la foto que en persona. Es de algodón pero los colores son menos intensos. Compré el morado con rosa. No tiene naranja. Y el morado es más azul que morado.No tienen tanta calidad como los tejidos que se hacen en México.Lindo pero no me encantó.

Very pretty, I love the colors

Very pretty, I love the colors, nice quality also, the only reason I don't give it five stars is because the fabric had a small defect, in front, not enough to make me return it but this is why it doesn't get 5 stars. Otherwise it's really pretty and warm and easy to use it, I really recommend it.
