Gets the job done

I have the 9000 series shaver and as I have purchased this item as a gift, I cannot honestly review it. What I can say is that apart from using a Braun foil shaver for a couple of years, I have been shaving about four times a week with a Philips shaver for over 50 years and they are all reliable and provide a decent shave, even the budget models. I see this shaver as being no different, it comes with all of the necessary accessories and I have to say, having purchased a 9000 model with a cleaner, I think that they and their capsules are a waste of money and you are just as well to purchase a model without it and just wash it under the tap.A great shaver.

To be honest you do not need the cleaning kit, it just ups the money. Keep it simple and cost effective and just buy the shaver. I have been going back to a wet shave over the years time and time again as found electric shavers a real bind, making my face sore and taking forever to shave. I have just a normal stubble, and this shaver makes light work of it. Used very gently on the skin it does give you a close shave. Timed how long to use and it took just under 2 minutes. Well happy.

I'd just bought a foil shaver from braun. Looked the business. Returned it a week later. Not sure whether it was down to me or the shaver but it would not cut my hair at all. Maybe it wasn't long enough who knows. Returned the braun and took a gamble on this bundle. It was well priced seemingly reduced. From the first time of using it, its been great. Light pressure, no snagging or pulling, good battery - it's almost enjoyable to shave! Obviously as rotary shavers go, it's a little hard to style even with the in built trimmer, but this bundle coming with the one blade is perfect. So easy to style and trim between the two. Highly recommend

Ottimo prodotto peccato che chi lo ha spedito abbia commesso un grande errore. Sapendo che il destinatario è in Italia non abbia fornito un adattatore per la presa di corrente italiana. Nella nostra zona non si trova. Per farlo funzionare ho dovuto adattare un altro fino sperando di non creare guai al rasoio. Nel caso il venditore legga la recensione può sempre spedirmi il filo giusto. Sarebbe gradito anche un eventuale suggerimento.
