Under Armour hit the nail on the nail on the head with this setup. Comfortable straps, roomy, and durable, and not too flashy.
My son didn't want anything too flashy, too large, or too small. We took a gamble on his teenage angst and went with this sackpack. When it arrived, it appeared almost comically huge with the top fully spread out and completely flat. We could already see his disapproval mounting, but we insisted he give it a try. After putting a few books in it and cinching the top, it looks just like any other sackpack. This case is far roomier than his last and much better build quality. Some of these things are nothing more than a backpack for dirty gym clothes. Many of the strings are nothing more than draw-strings and dig into the shoulders. The strings on this are more like thick round bands of material making it much more comfortable to wear. Under Armour hit the nail on the nail on the head with this setup.Update: Bag is holding up perfectly after 3 months of daily use! Very pleased with my purchase.

Better than all the other athletic bags
This Under Armour Bag really takes the top award. I teach 10 yoga classes a week and shelep this back and forth to the gym most days of the week. Far superior than any athletic bags I've owned. The large zippered pouch on the front of the bag has two small compartments. I keep my credit cards/keys, iPod and iphone. It's very deep and can hold a lot. Especially things you just like to keep separate from the large main compartment. The ample large compartment holds so much. Gym shoes, large water bottle, yoga towel and flip flops when I take them off my feet to teach yoga. The cords/strings are heavy duty and have a holder to keep the cords pulled down and back so you can easily sling the bag over your shoulder. There also is a side zipper opening that has a soft lining. This bag is so awesome to sling over your shoulder while. I sling my yoga mat bag over the other shoulder ~ keeps your hands free. Much better those pricey yoga totes I nearly bought. Very durable material compared to some Nike ones i've purchased in the past that we're so thin and cheap. I was reluctant to buy pink as I thought it would be gaudy, but I'm very pleased ~ more of a raspberry color. Highly recommend this bag.

Great durable stylish bag!
My son used this for shool and he loved it! This bag held up all year with a 13 year old carrying books and supplies EVERY SINGLE DAY! Kids are rough on everything, clothes, bags, shoes, etc. But regardless of the beatings it has taken it still look, feels, and preforms like its brand new out of the package! I couldn't ask for a better durable school bag for my teenager!

Great utility
Owned for approximately a year.I'd like to see these a little cheaper to enter bargain territory but it's really nice. The cables are thick enough to where they're not too uncomfortable on your shoulders. I wouldn't run a park with them [again] but walking around they're just fine. The utility is great for such a simple bag. There's the main pouch of course which I usually use to hold my change of clothes and a towel. The side pouch is big enough to hold items such as wallet and keys keys, but it's also micro fiber if you want to put more sensitive items like your watch or glasses. The front pouch has a few mesh pockets and enough room to place any other loose items.Really simple design to just throw random items in to transport between locations without needing something more formal like a backpack for more formal trips.

Sturdy lightweight backpack
This is a bit pricey for a string backpack but sometimes you get what you pay for. My middle school aged son uses this as an in school tote bag. He arranges his morning class books in one backpack and his afternoon classes in another. Then at lunch time he just grabs his second backpack from his locker and goes to his classes. I bought two of these bags when he started 6th grade. He abused those bags daily during the school year and they held up just fine for all of 6th grade and nearly all of 7th grade. He also used them daily in the Summer for swimming and putting dirty shoes in etc. The bags just wipe clean.I just now had to replace one of his backpacks due to a strap getting cut but I felt that was pretty good considering the daily abuses these bags have taken. He still has one old under armor bag from 2016 and now has one new one

Nice Bag - extra pockets are helpful
This is the second of these bags I've purchased. Bought one for my son and this one for my nephew because my son loves it so much. It's a great bag. For a string bag, it's pumped up with some extra pockets that most string bags don't have. Perfect for camp or any drop-off activity. Some reviewers complain that it's difficult to pull the string closed and to open it. I have to agree with that somewhat. It's not terrible but also not easy, and for a little one it would likely be difficult. The fabric of the bag is a bit stiff, which makes this a problem. My kiddos are both 11 and have the strength to work with it but I have had my son mention it being difficult to close, without my pointing it out. So, for little ones under 10, probably not 100% easy for them to use.

Awkward fit
I normally love the Under Armour drawstring bags (the cheaper ones), so I thought this would be even better, but I was wrong. This bag just doesn't feel right, even with the cushy draw strings. Women beware -- the chest strap looks ridiculous for anyone with boobs. It causes the strings to straight up outline your chest and is super awkward to wear. Initially, the bag wears extremely low on the back. I'm 5' 9'' and long in both my legs and torso and this bag goes literally down to my butt. My husband and I found that if you reach inside the bag and untie the knots and re-tie them in a different spot you can adjust where it lies on your back, but it didn't change how akward and uncomfortable this bag is to wear. We brought it to a state fair and saw several people with the same bag -- all of them fidgeting with it constantly trying to get it comfortable. I wouldn't recommend this one at all. I actually like the cheap ones from Under Armour better. The one thing I did like about it was the front pocket and that is the only reason for the second star.
