Waterproof to keep you dry!
There were two things I was looking for when searching for a tent: (1) waterproof, and (2) lots of space. This tent delivers on both.Size-----This is a 6-person tent, but realistically it's the right size for a family of 4 with enough room for clothes, shoes, and other things in the tent without crowding everyone out. This was an upgrade from a 4-person tent that was incredibly tight for 2 adults and 2 small children. I am able to easily stand up in this tent and I am 5'8".Setup-------This tent goes up fairly quickly and was intuitive enough to figure out without the instructions. Like a similar reviewer said, I'd toss the tent stakes that come with this tent and get something better. A cheap upgrade ($8?). The rainfly goes on easily and stays in place with a combination of quick release clips, velcro straps, and stakes in the ground.Quality---------The quality of this tent seems pretty reasonable. The zippers work very well and seem to be the best quality I've had on a tent thus far. Only time will tell how the rest of the tent holds up.Waterproof---------------We used this for 2 nights in a decent amount of rain. The tent remained perfectly dry without a single drop getting inside. This is the only tent I've ever had that keeps me dry. I think the key here is the rainfly providing another layer that sits over the top of the tent and reaches all the way to the ground. In my previous tents that were "waterproof", there was no rainfly that went all the way to the ground... only partway down from the top. Thus the sides of the tent get rained on and as soon as you touch the side, water comes through. This is impossible with this tent. You can't touch the rainfly from inside the tent, thus you stay dry no matter what. I really appreciate that the rainfly comes down and creates kind of a "porch" area right outside the door that you can use to put down a mat or the likes and store your shoes outside the tent without worrying about them getting wet.Dislikes----------The bottom of this tent is a fairly thin material. And although the seams are taped, it is not a "tarp" like material that I've had on other tents. I would not put this tent directly on the ground for fear of having a stick, or rock or something poke a hole through it. Thus a tarp is required underneath.Summary------------Overall I am very happy with this tent. It's nice to know that no matter what kind of rain comes (and we get a lot here) I will always stay dry!

Easy to setup/take down
I recently had the chance to use this tent, and it was in early March (so, it was fairly cold out, yes)--I did use a heater inside the tent. There are a number of things I do enjoy about this tent.1. Setup was fairly simple, even without using directions--I like to setup a tent without looking at directions first, just to see how easy it is. The only confusing part was how the pole for the rain fly attached. I had to look at the directions to see how this was done, but it would have been fairly straight forward if it wasn't so dark out. Tip: Insert the pole for the rain fly prior to placing the rain fly over the dome...otherwise you'll never get it on.2. When staking out the tent--and rain fly--don't make everything overly-taught. This causes undue strain on zippers, and will cause them to split prematurely (the material for the zippers are fairly cheap, but they work if you don't put too much tension on them).3. The "porch" feature was awesome! Even though it was a bit of a pain to get into/out of when half-asleep, it helps to keep the heat in quite nicely! There's a could 4x3 section this covers, and you can almost stand all the way up in--I would imagine this does a great job in keeping rain out of the main tent.4. As far as I can tell, the rain fly will hold out the rain, but it did not rain during this trip for me to comment on.5. While the tent holds in heat pretty well, this means it'll be unbarabely HOT during summer temperatures. There is no ventilation possible, unless you want people to look into your tent--i.e. no privacy in this instance.6. I can confirm that I was able to stand up straight without issue. There was plenty of room in the tent for 2 queen size mattresses, but that would be it. I just had a single queen in there, and had plenty of room for gear--not to mention the "porch"!7. Tear down was a snap, if a bit cumbersome for one person. But, I can at least say this can be put up, taken down, by a single person without much issue in about 30 mins. An additional person will halve the time, or more, it takes to do either task.Would have given it 5 stars if there was a possibility of ventilation while maintaining privacy--for group camping.EDIT: I've now had this tent through Summer, to include rain conditions. Updating to reflect the rain conditions:When raining, rain fly did not leak. While expected, always a relief to know for certain! The porch was a great place to setup a camp chair and look out while it was poring rain. Did a great job in blocking the rain while providing ventilation into the tent area, and not having to track in mud and such, with a place to take shoes off before entering the main tent area (porch).EDIT 2 (after a couple years ownership): While I like this tent, the tension pull for the rainfly is of poor quality and broke within a year of use. Customer service was helpful in replacement, though.
