Super sturdy and has great articulation
I used this to replace a previous mount in my van (Tripp Lite). The Tripp Lite did not have enough articulation and the TV would end up not being level, depending on the adjusted angle. Plus, it wouldn't stay closed making me strap the arms together so it didn't swing out while driving. This NB North Bayou mount does it all. It will adjust to almost any angle and will even rotate for a vertical orientation, which I could see coming in handy when my TV is connected to my laptop for tasks such as working on documents, where vertical would be nice. Or maybe if you lay on your side while watching a movie? No matter how you adjust it, you can always rotate the TV so it is level to your viewing angle. I could loosen the bolts a little to make it slightly easier to move the 22" TV around, but I keep it pretty tight so it will remain in any position when my van is in motion. This would be the perfect mount for RV users or Van Dwellers like me. No worries about strapping it in place when driving. It was even a few bucks cheaper than the Tripp Lite it replaced, so great value for a superior product. Anyone want to buy a used Tripp Lite mount?

These Work Perfectly For My Dual 32" UHD Monitor Desktop.
Work perfectly for my application.I have a pair of new 32" UHD monitors now hanging on the wall behind my desk. The weight rating for these nicely includes the 11.4 lbs that the monitors weigh, even though the 32" size is bigger than the description says the mount supports.I had to do a little bit of file work on the corners of the VESA mounting face to get them to fit the openings on the LG monitors, but that is the fault of the openings; it was just easier to trim the mount.Once mounted and with the monitors attached, the gas-spring was easily adjusted so the monitors sit at the height where they are left. The construction of the arms is more than adequate for the duty. The apearance and finish is great. I couldn't be hapier with the purchase. I'll be picking up four (4!) more for my wife's desk with 2X similar monitor configuration. These are much more stable than the ones she has now.If you have a need for a monitor or TV mount that includes the weight range of this one, it's a great choice.

Cheap Plastic is the only thing holding up your expensive monitor!
I read the reviews and figured the breakages were probably from monitors that were too heavy.. but boy was I taken for a fool. This stand is rated for 4.4-15 lbs and I figured would be perfect for my 4.9lb 22 inch monitor as its near the low end.. As you can see from the pictures the stand wants to naturally extend out leaving constant stress on the thin plastic where the break occured, this is a really bad design. There is plastic overmolded metal in other locations but not here for whatever reason! Should be a real easy fix with flat bar stock to replicate the broken piece if warranty doesnt pick this up..Edit: I got a refund and was told to keep the broken one. I used a scrap piece of aluminum to fix it and now it’s literally better than new 💁♀️

The BEST bang for your buck! Very fancy, but not for anything remotely heavy
The price would be its strongest point. You really can't find a gas assisted articulating mount with this many adjustments for this price, i bought 2 because the deal was the best i could find anywhere. Now about barely into a month i was sitting at my desk with my 2 screens and BOOM, one of the plastic support pieces (chrome) which hold the monitor level and encloses the gas strut had broken. i was surprised to find its plastic, i assumed there was metal under it or something. luckily my monitor didn't break. So i checked the specs and found the maximum weight limit is only 10lbs. Not sure if the monitor is more than that but it may be. So before you buy understand this is for light weight monitors and TV's that are no more than 10lbs. There is a identical version which costs 50% more but it appears to have a metal support for a higher weight limit which i will purchase just to be safe.

Holds my Predator X34, with some minor tweaks...
These things are awesome. Screw paying big money for the name brands. I have two. One for an LG monitor and the other for a 3440x1440 gaming monitor. The gaming monitor is above spec, coming in at almost 17 lbs. All functions worked except the screen kept leaning forward. On the hinge that controls tilt, I replaced the Allen bolt with a more quality/sturdier one and then removed the cone washer and replaced it with a lock washer. I also roughed up the mating area of the hinge a bit so it was less likely to lean forward. On 17lbs the gas arm and other points of pivot work without tweaks. I mean it is over limit so the one flaw is on me... BUT the fact it can do everything it’s supposed to and be over weight is a feat in its own. The light weight 27” 4K LG I have works flawlessly. I would definitely recommend! Ahhh, no exposed wiring... (I’m a bit OCD)

Great quality build, Bad anchors
I love the build quality, for 25 bucks it cant be beaten. That said, the included drywall hardware is crap. I only used them instead of the studs b/c the spacing did not work in my setup. The included anchors stripped the drywall (I thought it was my own fault as I used a light drill to fasten the first one) but the second one done only by hand stripped also. I was very careful to follow the instructions hole dimensions (I have a complete bit set) and still stepped the holes up to size slowly for a nice snug fit. I ended up using much smaller anchors from a harbor freight variety pack I have laying around which works well for a small/light monitor (mine is 21.5" Acer). So anyway now I have 2 large unnecessary holes in the wall hidden mostly by the mount. NOT COOL DUDE
