I am no longer afraid of buying a man's shoe
I tried these on in a woman's shoe (9.5) at my local store and thought they were awesome. The stability and heel support is very helpful to an older person (like me!) When I looked on Amazon I found that the woman's equivalent was $40.00 more. Not that it isn't worth the money, but if I can save some on the same shoe - I will. I know, I know, if you read internet sources they will advise "a man's foot is different, don't do it." But, realizing the main difference was in the width of the shoe, that was ok with me. A woman's medium is a B, a man's is a D. I can live with a D width - in fact, think it is so much better. So, if you are a woman looking for a little wider shoe that is seriously comfortable - this is a good choice.

Have logged 1000s of miles in Adrenalines
Been running in the Brooks Adrenalines for years. I get a new pair every 4-6 months, depending on mileage. I run 15-20 miles/week when not training, and 30-40 when training for a race.Have never had a problem, until last year's model. The top of the shoe, right above where the big toe tail would be, developed a hole on both shoes, within 30 days. Never got huge, but big enough to see and big enough that water or dirt or sand could easily get inside. It must have been a problem with more than my pair, because in this year's model, they reinforced that exact area on the shoe - have an extra layer - glossy covering, where that hole appeared.Nicely done! This is a great running shoe.

Solid running shoes, need more colors to choose from!
My three previous pairs of running shoes have been the Adrenaline GTS 16. I did not expect the GTS 17 iteration to be very different from the 16, and that proved to be true. There are, however, a couple of minor differences I have noticed. First of all, the toe box seems to be slightly bigger on the 17. This has caused me to stumble a few times, and I've actually wiped out completely on a couple of occasions (wrecking a pair of expensive compression leggings on one of those falls). I seem to have adapted to that slight change now though, as no more stumbles or falls lately. The other difference is definitely a positive - the 17 seems to be better made and harder wearing. On all three previous pairs of 16s, I found that the upper would start splitting from the sole on the outside of the shoe at around the 250-mile mark. I have around 320 miles on my current pair of 17s and no sign of any splitting yet. I'll be replacing them around 350 miles anyway, but it's nice not to be forced into it by structural failure! Not sure why I had that problem with the 16s - I have fairly wide feet, but the splitting happened in both 2E (wide) and D (M) widths. Whatever the reason, I'm happy to be getting a little extra mileage out of each pair - running 40-50 miles a week, buying a new pair of shoes every 6 weeks was a significant expense for me!I have one petty complaint - I wish they came in a wider range of more interesting colors! The current line-up is pretty boring. C'mon Brooks - lets get some hot colors going for that marathon finish line photo!

Since 2005
Other shoes and brands hurt my feet mile after mile. I found Brooks and I never looked back. I've been wearing the Adrenaline GTS line since 2005 and this edition has surprised me with their plush control, and reminded me why I love this shoe. My right food was corrected for club foot as a wee babe, and if not for these shoes (and custom orthotics) I couldn't do the 20+ miles a week that I love. I have bought the Transcend shoes once and gotten the adrenaline trail version because it was appropriate, but I always come back to Andrenaline GTS. They're the only running shoe for me.

After many variations on a theme, love these still
The Brooks Adrenaline GTS 2708945 (just kidding it's really 17) is as good or better than the first Brooks Adrenaline I bought more than a decade ago. I have wide feet and plantar faciitis (sp?) so an orthopedist recommended these to me long ago and I've stuck with them. Granted I do use Arch Mold inserts (love them) and I do buy three at a time so I don't have to think about the next gen for a while but they never disappoint. ONE WISH..... ALL WHITE or almost all white would be a nice and welcome option.

Perfect Fit
I wear a 12 wide normal walking shoe or dress shoe. But for running, I use inserts and two pairs of socks so a 12 and a half double E is a perfect fit, which was the size Amazon suggested. The fit was spot on. These are great running shoes... lightweight but sturdy enough for the run. I use Powerstep inserts made by Pinnacle and they are awesome for running. Five miles a day, every day of the week. I'll got with some new inserts after three months, then a six months I get new shoes and inserts. Well worth the money.

Left Shoe Fit Terrible
I originally has this model running shoe in 2017 and it fit great, especially with orthotic supports. When it became too worn, I wore them to work in the yard and they still were very comfortable to wear. This latest pair that I found on Amazon were markedly different in the way they felt right out of the box. I wondered how and why a new pair of a 2016-17 model Brooks Adrenaline could still be around. When I received them and tried them on, I first noticed that they were already laced up completely, suggesting to me then that someone had returned them-probably more than one buyer. I found out when I first tried the shoes on. The left shoe killed my left foot, which is very flat, just walking around on the carpet. I returned the shoes for a refund. Lesson learned.

Great running shoes; they run a little small
These are great running shoes; I've been wearing Brooks Adrenaline for > 10 years now, ever since running the USMC Marathon in 2008 (I got two pairs that year and alternated!). They are comfortable and give good support. They do run small though; I normally wear a men's 13D in shoes, but have to get these in a 14 or else my toes are pushing against the inside. Price here on Amazon was excellent, way better than at the running store, and I got them fast via Prime shipping.
