Used them for the first time this week and they performed admirably. It's ice having them on you belt and having a long enough cord to secure them. Well thought out design and well made.

This was a gift for a young fisherman. He is thrilled with them and said he had removed 15 hooks the first week. He does fish and release. He found them handy because he could carry them on his belt.

Nice little pair of plies. Cuts through fishing line like butter. Crimps weights with ease. Really lightweight. I really didn't need a case to strap it to my belt. I didn't need a little bungee cord to buckle it to...whatever. And I'm not really sure why there is a little "nub" on the end of the jaws. I don't understand how that would help in removing a hook from a fish. It needs to have some sort of latch to keep the pliers closed as they stay of open all the time taking up room in your tackle box.

We keep these clipped to us when kayak fishing. They are a good tool for changing one’s set up and removing the hook from a fish.

Use these everytime I go fishing. Strong product definitely recommend

These are great fishing pliers, wish I had bought them sooner.

They work great, love the spring action to them and they cut braid, mono and flouro like butter. Only thing that kept them from 5 stars is that the black inserts on the nose bent when working on some crimps
