This intense Copper is my man ❤️❤️
I have never felt more like a princess 👑;) I never post pics but my man “ Intense Copper”needs to be seen;) This color is the best I’ve tried so far. Very faint smell compared to others no ammonia color. And the butter cream conditioner smells amazing! You don’t use shampoo to wash hair you use that conditioner. Then they have a hair mask haven’t used yet but I’m sure is brilliant. The comb is nice easily brushes through hair. I have tried so many colors and they were mostly flat in color, also gave me a metallic sort of dark color like paint over paint but this lifted that and gave it life again. This is a perfect color bright but not crazy looking more like a natural red head with some edge. This color is my man 👨:) will be buying it for good!

I've finally found the perfect red!
I have naturally dark reddish-brown hair with a few greys that has been lightened to medium/light brown shade, and I wanted to jazz it up with this auburn shade. My hair type is 4a, fine, worn in locs, naturally dry and prone to breakage, so the fact that this dye is ammonia free and highly moisturising was a big plus. I'd used this brand before in blue-black many years ago, and even though it didn't damage my hair, the colour faded sooner than the regular Colorsilk brand.I was very happy with this dye-I used all three boxes in one sitting (hair is waist length) and I was pleased at the thorough coverage and pleasant scent of the dye. It comes with this neat little comb/brush applicator thing, and the brush portion came in handy for my roots, temples and eyebrows. Rinse out was fairly easy, and the packets of conditioner did an excellent job of softening my dreads (I usually use my own conditioner because the ones supplied with the dye aren't rich or plentiful enough, but this was a nice surprise.) Upon drying, my hair was a little stiff (it always is after colouring-once it's been washed a few times, my hair softens back up) but it was full of gorgeous sparkly highlights, especially the loose hair at my roots. No other dye has had this effect on my hair, and it is extremely natural-looking.This shade of auburn is definitely not the same as the regular Colorsilk medium auburn-the regular version is more brown and subdued-this one is more red, vibrant and saturated but still natural looking. (My husband saw me this morning and said, "Wow, your hair is RED!" This shade looks amazing with my caramel skintone, and it's a beautiful rich tone that would flatter many complexions. As another reviewer mentioned, this isn't one of those fakey burgundy reds-this is a warmer russet tone that will lighten gradually with each wash. I've washed it twice and the colour is a little less red, but actually looks better as it's more even-looking. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find this shade locally since Kmart closed (the remaining local retail stores only stock the Buttercreme in black, brown and occasionally blonde) so I'm happy it's available here.Only one drawback, however-it takes a very long time for my dark roots to lighten-at least 45 minutes. I might try using some 30 vol. developer to speed it up a bit.Overall, though, I am really pleased with this dye and will continue to purchase it until it's discontinued.Key points-* Gentle-didn't dry out my hair or damage it* Pleasantly scented-no eye-watering chemical smell; leaves hair smelling lovely* Post-colour conditioner treatment is effective, even on dry type 4 hair* Colour is rich, saturated, multi-dimensional and sparkly with warm tones, not cool burgundy ones* This shade is not the same as the regular Colorsilk Medium Auburn 42-that one is less intense and browner, unless you use 30 vol developer with it* Takes a long time to lighten naturally dark hair unless used with a higher volume developer* Comb/brush applicator is convenient for temples, roots and brows* Intense colour will lighten and become less saturated with washing

REVIEW for Vivid Intense Copper - Long Lasting, Beautiful Copper Red
Pleasantly surprised by this dye! I'd previously been coloring my hair with the sadly discontinued/hard to find Intense Copper Red by Vidal Sassoon Salonist, which was my favorite in quality and color. Revlon's Colorsilk did not disappoint in color. It was a perfectly vibrant, deep copper red that nicely covered my blonde roots, a few stray white/grey hairs very evenly. What was most surprising about this dye was how long it lasted, in terms of red dyes, which are notorious for fading quickly. I colored my hair on September 8th and now 20 days later, it is still a beautiful copper color and this is with me washing my hair daily in warm-hot water. This isn't to say there hasn't been fading, but it fades to a beautiful color on me without any color-depositing products. It goes from a super vibrant, deep red-copper to an even more natural copper (think natural redhead color) over time. My Vidal Sassoon dye would fade quicker so I would often use Arctic Fox color in Sunset Orange once or twice in between dye jobs to brighten up my hair. I have not had to use any Arctic Fox so far with this Revlon dye. I typically color my hair every 5-6 weeks depending on events, etc, but I can see myself going longer between dye jobs with this color, especially if I wear a hat to cover those blonde roots.-------------------The TLDR:PROS:- Beautiful, vibrant, even color result- Smell of dye is not too strong/chemically (almost florally if I can recall)- Color lasts longer than any other red dye I've used- Fades beautifully- Both conditioners are very moisturizing- Great price point.CONS:- Nowhere near as enjoyable to apply as the Vidal Sassoon dye, which was so moisturizing and creamy.- Left my hair a bit dryer than before, but nothing a good hair mask/conditioner can't help- Comes with those awfully huge sandwich baggy gloves that fit no one. No big deal though - I raid my mechanic boyfriend's garage for better fitting gloves

Good & Effective!
This mixed well, it smells way better than most hair coloring solutions, and I highly recommend it. It comes with a conditioner for after you rinse the dye out, which makes your hair super silky, AND a two week mask. It also was nice to get a little comb/brush combo. I started with brown roots and old red dye and this came out a pure coppery red. Very pleased and I'll definitely use it again.

Very nice hair dye
I've been coloring my hair red for over 15 years, mostly on my own. I've tried a couple of different brands over the years and I have to say that I think this one is the best thus far. There was no heavy stink of chemicals, which is a huge plus, and the application was very easy. I actually even ended up with extra, which almost never happens. I also absolutely loved the smell of the after-color conditioner, and there was enough to cover my whole head, which again almost never happens. Overall, very happy with the hair dye and I will be using it again.

I'm extremely satisfied after applying Revlon Colorsilk Beautiful Colour, Brown/Black. I didn't experience any adverse reactions to the product.I'm very sensitive and usually I cannot tolerate most of the hayer dyes. What I like is :- extremely smooth texture which is very easy to apply all over- my hair now looks more silky- the brown /black colour is unbelievable beautiful hue in case you want to achieve a natural black hair colourI would add at the end that in case you have a long hair you have to get a two packs.
