I have greasy, loves gentle exfoliation daily but also dehydrated and annoying skin. Dont know how its always glogged and sloughing off dead skin but if i go 2 days without exfoliating im super flakey, even when im moisturized af. My tube also has the snotty consistency, not a whole lot of the grit, i honestly dont feel it, just some of the seed hulls or whatever they are. When i first used it i used my cleanser brush on low like i usually do for masks. Oh my gosh my skin was so happy! I still felt moisturized after washing and just used a super light serum without a ceramide serum like ive been needing. Didnt think it did alot for my blackheads till i used it today after opening up my pores, it very clearly helped this time.I dont care for the tube, thats my only problem with it. The twist cap is hard to get off when my hands are any kind of wet. Even when i just brushed my teeth and its just a BIT of water. Im going to put it in a different container. Id still buy it tho, its rare i find a exfoliating mask that leaves my skin so pleasant and happy after i use it. Usually i feel like i HAVE to wash my face and put something on. But this gives me such a nice skin feel i just wanna rinse it off and put something light on after. Im super picky with how my skin feels too. I didnt have a hard time applying with just my fingers. Took about a nickle? Size amount and just rubbed it in for a few minutes. I dont really care how evenly i apply things tho, i smear it on and call it good.It does seem like theres an issue with quality control. Since some people are getting snotty and some are getting a lot of grit. I dont really care but its interesting, must need a extra stir before the tubes are filled.

This exfoliating mask has an interesting consistency. It’s really smooth with exfoliating bits in it, and is slightly cool when you put it on. It says to apply a generous amount. I found it much easier to apply with a face spatula as spreading it was more difficult when using my fingers.Instructions also say to leave on ONLY 2 minutes. Do not leave it on too long because when I did I felt tingling and a slight burning sensation on my skin. So definitely make sure to do as it says and wash off after 2 minutes. When washing it off use circular motions to help the exfoliation occur.I did feel like I could feel something happening on my skin when I used this (tingle) but wish the exfoliation particles were a little finer/more in the formula.Didn’t notice a huge difference after using it (skin felt pretty much the same) and felt the formula is strong since leaving it on too long will cause a burning feeling. Overall I liked the cooling effect it provided and how quick and easy it is to use. Because if the ease I’m going to add it into my rotation until the tube is gone then reevaluate how it made my skin look.

The Blume Sunbeam Gentle Exfoliating Face Mask came well packaged in a metal tube and box. My wife applied it on her cleansed face and let it sit for a few minutes. Then she added a little water and massaged it in before rinsing it off. Afterwards, her skin felt super smooth and refreshed. Reviewing the Blume Sunbeam Gentle Exfoliating Face Mask – Deep Pore Cleansing Mask for All Skin Types – Vegan & Cruelty-Free – Mask for Dark Spots & Acne Scars - Unclogs Pores, Smooths Texture, Brightens Skin. I’d like to preface my product review with a brief description of my skin, I have sensitive combination skin with minor acne which used to be major and caused scarring and dark spots. I’ve seen positive reviews of Blume products online, so decided to try this one out for myself. The packaging is nice and easy to use, comes in a tube similar to that of acrylic paint. I like that the tube doesn’t push out too much product, and actually kind of sucks the excess back in, unlike some tubes which continue to push out product causing you to rush to close it or waste product. The mask itself looks like whisked eggs with some coffee grounds blended in, not the most pleasant, but it’s more important to me if a product works rather than how it looks. After applying the mask and waiting for it to “set in” I used a damp wash cloth to wipe it off, as just water wasn’t working well. I did not experience any negative side effects, or really notice much of anything. It did have a slight smell, nothing incredibly fragrant or perfume-y, but a bit like sulfur, not anything too strong that would necessarily turn me away though. After using, my skin felt just about the same as when I use my gentle facial cleanser. Not incredibly soft or clean or much of anything. When I use a mask I’m hoping to see a bit more of a dramatic change or feeling I guess, this one didn’t seem to really exfoliate at all. And yes, I am aware it’s a gentle exfoliant, but it didn’t seem to “deep clean my pores” as it claims to. So far I’m frankly more impressed with the packaging than what the product achieves, but I will continue to test it and update my review with any changes. This product may work for someone who has even more sensitive skin than I do, and can only handle very minor exfoliation. Hope this helps, thanks for reading :)
