I have used this product for over a year now, I took was skeptical as other reviewers have said that "It doesn't filter anything"I recently replaced the filter on this unit. Before replacement my water meter was reading 110 units.After replacing the filter and letting it run for a few minutes it came back with a 0 reading.I am going to randomly test it however to see how long this filter actually does last.

This product appears to work as advertised. I am no scientist, but from personal experience, I can say that my skin is definitely less itchy and dry since I have been using this filter system. This was a reorder to replace the existing filter. We have hard water and for years I have had a problem with dry skin which has been greatly improved with the use of this product. We have not changed any other bath products we use. Easy to install and change. Great delivery. We will order again.

My son is very sensitive to chemicals in tap / public water. It makes him ill and gives him skin issues. Ever since installing this filter, he is able to take showers without becoming ill and without his skin having the issues during and after the shower that tap water / public water / city water would give him. He and I both love it!! My skin and hair have improved, too. We will never go without a filter again!

I'll admit, at first I couldnt tell any difference from my previous shower filter but kept using this one anyway. Then, after about two weeks I had to take a shower in a different bathroom in my house and IMMEDIATELY noticed the difference in how the water felt and how my skin felt after. This works.

City of Albuquerque has started fluoridating the water, so the need for the filter. I'm going to ask the maintenance guy at my apartment building if I can attach one to the kitchen faucet - so I won't have to always be buying water. It's very convenient that the white tape is also included.

The filter reduces dissolved particles to where I no longer itch after a shower. Fitting the filter into the shower head was a pain because placement of the gasket is tricky.

Very easy to install, and definitely noticed a difference in our water quality. However, our water pressure is drastically reduced after just a few weeks. We take it out, shake it, refresh it, and put it back and this will extend us to about a month and a half. The company reports this is due to our bad water quality in Milwaukee. So beware, that the replacement window could be much more frequent than the proposed 4-6 months.
