Absolutely amazing bag!
I do a lot of winter camping and was looking for a good winter bag. I have never used a $500 sleeping bag so I can't compare those to this but, this bag is awesome! For a 0 degree bag( comfort rating, not lower limit rating) 3 lbs. is very manageable. I have been able to compress it down to about 9" x 6" and when I get to camp I shake it out and it retains its loft in about 30 minutes. So far 23 degrees is the lowest temp I have slept in and was quite warm in just a tee shirt in shorts. I do have it paired with the Paria Outdoord Recharged sleeping pad which is awesome as well. 4" air pad with a 4.7 r-value.I am 5'8" and weight about 170 lb with broad shoulders and the regular size works. It is plenty long but is a little tight. If you are a wide person or have broad shoulders I would recommend the larger size fist for the extra width. If I ever need to replace this bag I would get the larger size. It is very comfortable and has no annoying smells to it. The zippers are flawless and the draft tubes are a very nice addition. Especially on a really cold night.I can't say enough about this bag and the company behind it. Paria puts out some good stuff at an affordable price. The only thing about this bag I am not in love with is the stuff sack. It is good quality but I just don't like how it works. It has like a nylon cap thecompression straps attach to and there are only 3 points of conprssion. I prefer the simple stuff sack that has the 2 straps that go over the bag with 4 point compression. I am using one of those on this bag. Not a big deal.If you are looking for some quality, affordable gear, check out Paria Outdoors. Oh, their customer service is as good as it gets as well!

Great Bag, Terrible Stuff Sack
I purchased this bag for a week long trip to a National Park in early March. The lows at night were in the low 30s. As someone who hasn't slept in a tent in years, I slept better that week than I had in a long time. I wore base layers and socks to sleep in. In early fall, I used it during a three day kayaking trip. It was advised by the guide to use a trash bag to line the stuff sack to help prevent water from getting inside. This was difficult. I had used the stuff sack for the first time prior to this and broke a sweat trying to get the sleeping bag in.... so the trash bag endeavor was interesting. One evening the temperature was in the 40s and I was sweating (I had went to bed in sweats). I didn't have another sleeping bag so it was fine. The next night I slept outside and it as much better. My last trip was car camping. The outside air temp dropped to mid-high 20s. I did get chilled that night but only because I didn't wear proper socks and long sleeves. I slept well enough. Overall the bag is fantastic. The only issues I had were the stuff sack and the zipper. I couldn't get the bag unzipped on my most recent trip and had cinched the top of the bag. I would highly recommend investing in a different type of stuff sack if you're going to need it unless you have a lot of patience. I was worried about the price of the bag being too high for the quality but as really pleased. I have considered getting a higher temp-rated bag through Paria as well.

and i could not sleep curled like i normally can in a regular bag
I got the short version. It's a little small. I'm 5'4", and i could not sleep curled like i normally can in a regular bag....too narrow. I don't think i saved much in weight/space, so don't get short if you're taller than 5'6" or are side sleeper. I slept in this in 40 degree temp with mat, tent with no fly in t shirt and leggings, no socks, so i think with a down jacket, socks, and thermal clothing, it can take me to 15 degrees, maybe. But i sleep very cold. For reference, a 32 bag for me is only good to 45-50, comfortable. Fluffs up nicely. I like the mesh storage bag and colors. Compression sack sucks. Only 3 points, didn't compress evenly. 10"×8.5" compressed size...kind of big.

OUTSTANDING BACKPACKING BAG!
-Initial "Out-of-box" Impression: Gorgeous! (Can a sleeping bag be gorgeous? I think it can, if you have a slight fetish for quality, intelligently designed outdoor gear :) .) Thick, fluffy loft fills bag on unrolling in minutes. Slick, substantial-feeling material. Quality stitching. Nice color. Amazingly light! What you see is exactly what you get.-Home "try-out": Comfortable! I'm 6'2" and 200 pounds, and I'd say it's just about perfect. (If I were 15+ pounds larger, I'd probably go with something a bit bigger around the chest/shoulders.) Two-way zipper is easy to use, with a thick zipper guard to minimize snagging. Nicely snug overall without feeling hindered. Length is perfect for my height.-Packing: Easy and Light! This bag compresses amazingly well. On my pack it feels like nothing.-Camping break-in: A+! Spent two nights at around 9800 feet in Utah's Dixie National Forest. Temps dropped down to low 40's, lots of wind, but inside a tent so no real test for this bag. I slept with it unzipped/open over me, wearing just drawers, and was perfectly comfortable slightly on the warm side. So it has genuine flexibility as a true 4-season bag. (Looking forward to putting it to more of a test on future trips, and I'll update here as I do.)-Customer Service: Outstanding. Prompt, friendly, and helpful email responses from Paria any time I've had a question. You guys are great!
