I received one of these cups as a xmas gift in '18 and since then it was seldom anywhere but in my hand - or on my desk - or my nightstand - or car cup holder. The color had begun to come off and it was starting to look pretty scruffy so I finally ordered a replacement. Still have the original one, just use it mostly at home.The Primula cup is the ONLY one I've ever owned (and there have been a few) that actually keeps contents hot or cold. There has still been ice in my cut after sitting by my bed all night long.

These are great! Very well insulated and hold ice all day. I have a few different brands of the more expensive steel insulated cups and these beat all of them for keeping liquids hot or cold!! Easy to hold too with the tapered bottoms and swirled design. One negative, the tops leak. If you tip them they will leak. They don’t leak while drinking only when the lid is shut and they are tipped a small amount of liquid runs out.

I purchased a different design of Primula tumblers last year, and I decided to give this one a try also. This tumbler is really great! I haven't tried it with hot drinks yet, but the first thing I did was to fill this with ice and turn it upside down in a large measuring cup. The only reason this one got four stars is that it did leak very slowly. (The ones I purchased last year was a screw-on top and had a better seal on the lid, preventing any leakage.) However, that shouldn't be a problem if the tumbler gets knocked over and picked up right away. The plus for this design, though, is that in my "ice test", the ice really lasted a long time! The last bit of ice finally melted after 51 hours!I gave many of the tumblers with the other lid design as gifts last year and hope to pick up more like this one to give to as gifts this year. I have had rave reviews from the friends who received them - sometimes several months later!These Primula tumblers really do a great job of keeping things cold for very long periods of time!

This cup holds temperature for hours and hours, both hot and cold. I've left hot tea over night and opened it to find the tea quite warm. Even when it's open, hot drinks stay how and cold drinks stay cold, all without effecting the outside temperature of the cup.My only hang up is that the base of the cup is large enough that it can be fatiguing to hold it for very long- even walking from my car and into my work building, but I have unusually small hands.The lid can be a challenge to keep super clean with all the small pieces, but as long as you rinse it all out after you use the cup, its no problem.

I purchased the smaller Primula for work and loved it. I needed a cup for home and this was a great deal. Primula keeps my water cold to the last drop. I got one for my coffee drinking uncle, and he said it kept his coffee hot for at least 4 hours. It fits in my car cup holder and it doesn't sweat.

I have a 20 ounce Primula from at least 5 years ago, which maintains ice from the preious day. The 32-ounce I just purchased keeps the beverages cold, but ice melts much more quickly. The thickness of the cup walls has a noticeable difference (feels less so on the new 32-ounce). Not sure if construction changed or if measurements for different ounces are just different. Three-star overall rating just because ice melts much faster in newer, larger cup.

This is a great tumbler! I fill it with ice every day at 5:30 AM, add water three or four times at work, and it still has ice in it when I come home in the afternoon. I love the fact that it fits well in the cupholder in our vehicle, too. I liked it so much, I had to buy one for my wife!! High recommended!

I use the bottle daily for my green tea every morning. I particularly like the serrated bottom which is easier for my arthritic hands to hold. I have no problem with cleaning it or do I have trouble with leaking. The present cover is better then a previous one. The previous cover screwed on and I had trouble opening it. Plus I dropped the bottle and the cover broke. The new cover seems to be much more durable and I don’t have to unscrew it.
