Just wipe it down with a DAMP clean cloth. Use the backside of a knife to scrape off any dough that is stuck on the rolling pin. I would not recommend washing it with water. Dry it as soon as you are through wiping it down.

Where is the wood from? Is it China?

The wood of our products is from rubber wood in Thailand.
