ANGWEL New 14V 3A 42W Adapter Charger for Samsung LTM1555 Samsung LTN1565 LCD 15" LCD Monitor A3514-DPN,AD-4214N, GH17P, AD-4214L

In the product photo, the label on the power supply clearly shows part number A3514-DPN and has an output rating of 35W, 14V, 2.5A, which is what is required by my Samsung S27E310 monitor. The product description also states that the part number is A3514-DPN, but states that the output rating is 42W, 14V, 3A. What was shipped is part number AD4214-DPN, which is indeed a 42W, 14V, 3A power supply. The seller should correct their photo and/or description to list the actual part being shipped, to eliminate any confusion.The amperage rating on power supplies is what the power supply is capable of delivering, not what is actually consumed by a device. The amperage rating on the device being powered, is what is required for the device to run properly. If you cannot match a power supply's Amperage to a device's Amperage rating exactly, it is better to have a power supply that is capable of delivering more Amps than can be consumed by the device, not less. So having a power supply capable of delivering 3A for a monitor that requires 2.5A to function properly is very acceptable, as long as the Voltage between power supply and device match exactly.Bottom line, the build quality of the power supply appears to be good and the monitor works as expected. I would recommend this power supply and seller to anyone looking for a replacement power supply for Samsung Monitors.

It was exactly what it was supposed to be. Worked perfectly right out of the box.I used it for a Samsung S27C230 flat screen monitor.

I bought this for 10.89 and received yesterday. The right-angle connector fit my S27C230B monitor with no interference with adjacent in-use DVI port. I do think the original's straight connector would put less stress on the connection, especially considering the shorter cable which leaves the brick partially danging above the floor.I also need to mention that the model I actually received is AP04214-UV; nothing on it says Angwell. It shows output 14v 3a, which would be 42w rather than the listed 35 (and hence the model number, I assume).In any case, it's working fine so far and running a bit cooler than either of the bricks on my 2 24" monitors. I can't give a product like this more than 3 stars without knowing it will last several years, but so far I'm very happy with it for the price...

Update: been using for awhile now and haven’t had any problems.I received my replacement power adapter in nice packaging and undamaged.At first looks it looks a little nicer than my original Samsung power supply, because I do like the 90 degree plug to the monitor over the original straight plug. Also, the new adapter has a Velcro tie to wrap the cable up.Left plugged in overnight and it seems to run at the same temp as the original power supply.I'll update later the Samsung monitor model the replacement adapter is plugged in to.So far so good.I'll update stars after using for awhile.

Brought Samsung monitor without a power adapter, look up the part number and the monitor work perfectly.

It got here very quickly and works perfect for my monitor.

Good replacement for my flooded Adapter. It fits perfectly on my Samsung S27D360 and works great.
