This is one large, sturdy, well made dish rack. Exceeded our expectations & then some!
We ordered this tray not expecting much because you know the saying, "you get what you pay for." Well, this dish rack goes above and beyond what we expected. The dish rack is large enough to fit our dishes, pots, and pans all in one wash. We like that the drainage tray is included. Also, for us, a big plus is that it's Made in the U.S.A., so we feel confident in the quality of the materials used in producing the rack.UPDATE after 5 Months of use:The dish rack is still holding up great. It still holds all of our pots, dishes, and utensils. One thing we noticed was that the water drainage was not so great because the drainage tray sits completely flat--we had to DIY a slight incline to help with water drainage, but with other trays we had to do this too (we had a simple human tray previously). On the plus side, cleaning the dish rack is easy. The drainage tray pops out to clean top and bottom.2 YEAR UPDATE 5/8/2014Still drying dishes like the first day we bought the rack. The dish rack still looks good as new. Every month or so, we'll brush the rack with vinegar to bring back the bright white color.3 YEAR UPDATE 9/2/2015This dish rack is still working hard; just sitting there drying our dishes. At this update, we have an addition to our growing family, and the rack still fits our needs. For the DIY incline, we use a piece of wood at one end of the tray to increase the angle of the drain tray (you can use wood, empty box of aluminum foil, etc.).7 YEAR UPDATE 10/3/2019Still dries dishes like a pro.

You Have to Turn the Top Around on the Base
So many people are complaining that the cup holder is not draining the cups into the base . The reason is for shipping the base and top are mounted 180 degrees off the working position to make it smaller or overlap itself . If you separate and turn the top around then there is a overhang offset for collecting water from the cups . The drainage was a problem and it came warped a little I actually raised it with a 2 by 4 painted white that is 14 inches long and it now works well . It seems since lips and counters are different this will always be something hard to engineer in with adjustable feet .Because it is white you definitely will need to separate and spray down with clr or the works tub and tile cleaner then rinse well at least every month if not week to clean rust and hard water deposits . This was the same one I bought years ago and had been using after putting another base under the dish rack when the first one became nasty from hard water and brittle from using chemicals to clean . If I get 2 years from one of these I am very happy and I pushed my last one for about 4 and it looked it :-) .One of these days I will try the Simplehuman one if the sale and discount stars align right but my past experience tell me its better to have the money in my pocket to buy 4 more new ones of these then spend the $60 on the model I found interesting . They look nice but $30 to $90 for a dish rack just doesn't sit well with me This works well and the base comes on and off easily for cleaning . I am happy as I could be and with gas $4 a gallon and the closest store 12 miles away paying a few bucks more online then in a store if I could find this one to have it delivered to my door was the best option and most frugal plan of action . The design is basic a ribbed flat bottom that will hold dishes separate or anything can be placed in with silverware above the sink edge draining . It works better on the right side of the sink so the cups holders face you but I use the left side and it is possible to still use them . For really picky people placing it on a towel can soak up any small splatters from cups just make sure you change it often and it dries out daily so you do not get mold growth . This is a basic , decent , product . I would give it 4.5 stars if I could because drainage isn't perfect without propping it up and whipping it down weekly with a cleaning product but I never have had one any better . Everyone I ever bought needed some DIY help . Good luck .PS the Simplehuman ones are bigger this is ok for me if I had a family I might consider them for that reason more carefully even though their $60 for large ones . When we were kids Grandma just put towels on her countertop but in the old days they were enamel and had lips around them to set dishes that were part of the sink and separate from the counter area after washing . You rarely if ever find that anymore .

Decent for the Price, but It's Not the Sturdiest Item
It's plastic so the feel is not very sturdy, but it serves the purpose well. The two pieces snap together and can be detached for cleaning but I would image with repeated use this will lead to failure/ breakage. Would have been 5-stars if it was more sturdy, but for less than $20, it's acceptable. Holds dishes well. Lots of room. Cup holders are another feature that I wouldn't use because I would guess these would also break after repeated use, but there's enough room in the main area for all dishes if you don't let them pile up for days.

The perfect dish rack and drain!
I love this dish rack and drain set! It is exactly the right size (large) for my countertop, and I love it in black. I previously had one that is the same size and style in white, which I now realize stuck out like a sore thumb. Also, the white one always had stains on it (from tea and coffee cups). I don't believe this black one will ever look stained. I love that I can fit so many large plates in this drain and they don't fall out of the slots. I love the double silverware cup. I love that it comes with the attached drain board and I can reverse it so the silverware cups hang over the sink where it drains. And it was delivered by Amazon quickly and in perfect condition. I am VERY happy with this purchase! :-)
