The battery shortly after receiving it stopped charging. It still has a charge from when it used to charge, and the laptop will run off that, and it will run off cord alone as well. Luckily I still had my old battery and that charged but this one won't.Edit: They sent me a new battery and it worked perfectly and was very hassle free! Excellent customer service!

This battery died after a month. To be fair the laptop is over 4 years old and the battery that was sent was probably not manufactured recently because why would a company manufacture batteries for old laptops? I'm still very disappointed. I never returned it because shame on me for expecting anything different.Edit: the seller did reach out to me and sent a new battery which I have been using for a few weeks now and it seems to be working.

I bought this for my Lenovo IdeaPad Z50-75 about 6 months ago to use at college. It worked fine at first, giving me 2-3 hrs of juice on a full charge. It gradually decreased, as one would expect, but a couple of nights ago, while it was at about 75%, it randomly shut down while I was using it. I turned it back on and it had dropped to 5%. Plugged it in for a few hours, but even though Windows said it was charging, it remained at 5%. I tried a few things I read online but nothing's worked. There's nothing wrong with the charger, because I have removed the battery and it runs fine while it's plugged in. I have never dropped my laptop so I don't understand what could have caused the battery to malfunction like this. It says there's a 12-month warranty.

Have to reconsider my previous review as time has passed and a proper review can be made. I purchased this battery in January of this year...2018. As of August 2018 it will not hold a charge. It shows fully charged when I start my laptop and then 20 minutes later, without warning, it shuts down. I believe this may be my 1st ever one star review. I will not buy again!

Waste of money. Worthless. Purchased battery for Lenovo January 2018. In May 2018, I unplugged laptop and used battery power for the first time. With 52% juice left, plugged back in. Now, the battery will not charge and this battery does not allow use of power cord to operate laptop. Five months? My previous battery lasted 3 years with intense battery usage. This same thing happened with the Dell battery I bought from Amazon. Come on Amazon! Screen your sellers or extend warranty/return time period. Do not buy this battery!

Bought this because my computer wouldn't hold a charge! It fit perfectly for my Lenovo G50-45. Happy to report my computer is also charging again!

Perfect, fit perfectly in my G50-45 and lasts longer than the original.Updated 12/19: Now I know why the warranty is 12 months: in month 13 it died and now only lasts 30 minutes on a charge and dies without notice!

Only had it a couple days but it charged fine and holds a charge ten times longer than my old lenovo battery.
