These work perfectly.
I wore these to safeguard my glasses while on a week-long trail ride in Utah. At the time (pre-surgery) I was very nearsighted and losing my glasses would be a disaster. These did the job, and I like them so much that post cataract surgery I only need reading glasses so use them in the office so I don't have to carry my glasses around or find I've left them on my desk and need them. I also often take a pair of reading glasses on bike rides with me so I can check my phone, see to take photos, etc.I've not lost any glasses on NYC streets even riding on torn up roads. Ok, so I'm turning into my grandmother. But my glasses string is much cooler than hers ever was.

Comfortable, colorful, stays in place well
Holds glasses well, fun colors, comfortable. Pricey, but washable so the product should last several years.

It’s a string that holds your glasses on!
If you drop your glasses in a portapotty this string is great for fishing them out! It will never smell the same agin though
