Incase Origami Stand Sleeve for ipad Black

I bought this case as a gift for my wife who is an avid user of her iPad 2. This case is an ideal way to combine protection with versatility. Like most Incase products, the lining is ultra-soft microfiber which will absolutely, positively not scratch your iPad. It also easily converts to a stand to hold the tablet in either a horizontal or vertical orientation using a plastic "shelf" that folds flush with the outside of the case. It's ingenious!I read a couple of reviews that criticized the case for the way the iPad is inserted. This case has no zipper, but rather a slot where you insert the iPad and then fold the top piece over to completely cover it. I found this to be easy and convenient, and very similar to the armband from XtremeMac that I use for holding my iPhone when I run. If you're expecting a zippered case, you'd do better to look at the Case Logic sleeve which is less expensive, doesn't use microfiber, and doesn't convert to a stand. (For the record, that's the case I use and I'm very satisfied with it. I've reviewed that case as well, elsewhere on Amazon.)I think the implication of the above criticism is that it can somehow slip out, or is less protected from the environment than if the case was zippered. No way, Jose. There is no way the iPad can fall out, even if you shake it, and the flap would protect it from everything but a tornado. Also, while you could insert the iPad with the Apple magnetic cover attached, the purpose of this case is to use in place of it. Why would you want to use both when the case has microfiber to protect the case when it's not being used? Again, if you're just looking for a bit more protection for travel, check out the Case Logic sleeve instead of this. If you're looking for the versatility of a case and stand, then this is the correct choice.In short, a very nice case with the added versatility of easily converting to a stand. After watching my wife use if for a couple days, I know I made the right decision and I'd buy it again.

its a great design and cool looking laptop sleeve. but it was too small for my laptop. seems like it would fit an 11" laptop

I bought this item on the strength of the reviews. Having received the product I am disappointed. I rarely return items, but will in this case. Even though the product number matches, I don't think I received what the others did. Mine does not convert to a stand, it is merely a sleeve with a zipper. I liked the fact it had an outside pocket for the ipad. One reviewer mentioned that the pocket has a flap to keep the ipad in place. Mine does not have that. I put my ipad it, turned the sleeve upside down and it promptly fell out.Pros: Fits macbook air well, nice soft padding. It is as describled--blue cotton chambray liner, very reasonable price.Cons: Not at attractive as the picture. Because of the material and the light color, I think this case would get dirty very quickly. As another reveiwer wrote, a strap would have been helpful.

Feels very durable and think it will be easy to clean. Really like the fact that it is well padded to protect my MacBook Pro 13". Little room for much more in the outside pocket except a few papers and a pen.On the down side for me was the lack of some sort of handle/carry strap. Looking at adding my own to it.Looks nice. Like the opening being on the short end rather than the long side, like all the others.

This sleeve is very well padded without being bulky. I love the exterior pocket that holds my charger as well as my Moleskin notebook A5 with still plenty of room for other misc items (iphone charger, additional documents, etc.).It fits easily into my backpack as well with no issue, and it feels like it's really protecting my precious MacBook Air :)Also loooooove the chambray denim inside lining :) Very cute!

It is great to have a case made of nontoxic ecofabric instead of neoprene or other plastic. I had a case like this, in a different color and bought this one for my daughter. It is pale grey, sturdy and conveniently has the nice, chunky zipper on the short end so you can slip the computer into and out of the case while the case is in your backpack.

There is nothing wrong with this sleeve, but i expected to have higher quality for the price. The inside isn't soft, and might eventually lead to the finish off your computer wearing thin. And there is probably not much protection if you should drop it. And if you have a 13 or 13.3 inch laptop it will have about 3/8" wiggle room in the case. It fits my old HP dv4 quite well though. bottom line you should spend the money on a better sleeve for your expensive electronics.

Love this case. I've been very picky about protection about my laptop. My friend had same kind but different color and i loved everything about it so i decided to get one. I love that it is sturdy, cushioned well inside, fits perfectly with a case on the laptop. I think the extra pocket is convenient.TOTALLY RECOMMEND!
