Incredible for the price
For the price this headset is an absolute steal, they sound way, way better than they have any right to for $17. I use them with my PC running from the onboard sound from my ASRock B450M Steel Legend with no external DAC. I'm simply shocked at how good these sound. External noise suppression isn't great being that these are sort of half closed, half open back, but when they're playing sound not much gets through in a relatively quiet environment. The mic also holds it's own, using it in Discord everyone says it sounds great, nobody guessed that it was a mic from such a cheap headset. It actually sounds a bit better than my condenser mic. I absolutely love the matte finish on these, it's almost a rubber coating, but not quite. They feel quality too, another thing that is shocking based on the price of these. I'm not rough with my things at all, so I expect these will last many years to come. They have a pretty open sound stage, in terms of sound you don't really feel like you're wearing a headset, it's more like you have two monitor speakers sitting close to your ears. The details you can hear, say when someone is talking, like the "mouth sounds" that aren't intentional, come across clearly in these. I've been playing a lot of FFXIV lately and in the voiced dialogue parts of the game I can hear things like the sound of someone's lips parting or the tongue coming off the bottom or roof of the mouth. Things that you aren't really meant to hear, things I don't hear with other headsets.I'm not a basshead when it comes to listening to music at home (that's for the car) or gaming, but the bass was a little weak in these. I simply bumped it up in the Realtek Audio Console to fill it out some more. Perfectly fine now. They're listed as having a range of 20~20000 Hz, but after testing it's more like 30~15000 Hz. Not too bad.I only had one con. Had. I was able to fix it (pictures). Comfort was the one thing lacking for me. I don't have big ears, but I'm a big guy at 6'4", and I have industrial piercings and gauged ears. The inner space of the ear pads is just too small, and would sit right on my piercings, which would get pretty painful in a relatively short amount of time. In the almost two months I've had this headset I had to keep swapping back to my earbuds to give my ears a break from the pain. I was able to alleviate some of it by stretching out the headset so that it was wider and removed some of the clamping, that removed a lot of the pressure but the inner cup was still too small. I remembered I had cheapo headset laying around, and found out that I could pop the pads off of both of them and swap them. Now these are even better than they were before, they no longer touch my ears or piercings at all. After the pad swap I can wear these all day long.I don't really recommend swapping the pads unless you already have a set laying around like I did, a quality set like Brainwavz will cost more than this headset does. Which still isn't a bad thing, you'll end up with an absolutely incredible headset, along with some insane comfort.

Might be the best d*** $20 gaming headphone on the market!
* no rating on durability yetPros: + Surprisingly good sound! + Reasonable weight for over-ear, open-backed headphones + Fairly comfortable, lightweight for size + Cloth-covered cord, nice 6' length. + Comes with a 3.5mm TRRS 4-Position Female to Dual 3-Position 3.5mm TRS Male Headset Splitter Adapter! + Adjustable, 'gooseneck' mic boom + Feels sturdy, not expected for price + Did I mention the surprisingly good sound!Cons (oh, yes there are)- Mic is pretty meh, with modest sensitivity and rolled-off highs (with the foam cover) or brittle and harsh (without the foam cover) - Unpleasant, screeching mic-pop if not used with the included foam mic cover... - Horrible mute button location: the mute button is a sliding switch, on the END OF THE MIC, where it is not only _turribly_ inconvenient to use, but is directly covered by the foam mic cover And you really, really need to use that foam cover if you're using the mic on these!- Non-removeable cord means that when it fails, these are scrap (or suitable for on-a-tight-budget modding, I suppose)- These are the very definition of fixed, non-swiveling earcups. If you pinch the ear cups on each side using forefinger and thumb, there is zero-twist to the earcups. Since these don't swivel, they may not fit some head shapes. So it goes.- Kinda thin earpads. Comfortable enough, but these put a little pressure above my ears when I gave them the while-wearing-glasses test for about 15 minutes. Still I can see these being on for hours of use, but you might notice some pressure points in 15 minutes or so. YMMV.Observations and SummaryAfter cursing the harsh mic on these, I put the foam mic pop filter on, and that tamed the mic enough to use. Of course, you'll wear out that foam mic cover after accessing the ill-placed mute button over time, so you might want to keep some replacement foam covers on hand, like these (I haven't tried these replacement foam covers on this headset yet, but they should work):Tetra-Teknica XFFZ5P-BLK Lapel & Headset Microphone Windscreen, Color Black, 5-PackThe sound of these headphones is very good though - not great highs, but acceptable, and overall a very balanced tone. Much better mid-bass and bass range than I expected, or have ever heard in a $20 headphone! Seriously, these are amazeballs good for a mere $20. For the sound alone, worth $20. The gaming-mic feature is a bonus. Build quality is acceptable for monies paid. They are like, perfect as a 'starter' gaming headset. then if you upgrade later, keep 'em around as a back-up, loaner, etc. And even if they have an issue, the seller looks to be very good good a backing these, and you *only have $20 skin in the game!* I still can't hardly believe it.10/10 would buy again, and keeping these for loansies.
