The Ant Bully [Blu-ray]

I love to have this money in my Amazon account vs having the dvd and getting all scratched up. My 6 year old was being a Ant Bully and I wanted him to watch this movie so that he understands how important every life is even if it’s a bugs life 🤭 I love how the movie can be accessed through any mobile device that I have.

My wife and I rented this movie when we were in the mood for a light-hearted animated film. It's a great family-friendly movies that is sure to be a hit with the kids. No foul language and a good message makes it safe for even your younger kids. A fun movie!

I liked the concept, it was not a bad movie. The only bad thing is how it ended.

I liked this movie when I was a kid. It has the theme of working together will help you solve a bigger problem type of theme. It tells the story of a young boy named Lucas who was bullied by 6 different kids in his neighborhood and then would go on to destroy an ant colony in his yard. Soon one of the ants Zoc would turn him from human sized to ant sized to experience becoming an ant. And by the end he does become an ant (but he doesn't transform into one) overall really good movie highly recommend it.

This was such a cute little movie and definitely got my son to stop stepping on ant piles

My grandsons are both autistic, and fast paced movies usually keep their attention better than the rest. For some reason, Ant Bully has captivated my little audience and as many times as they have seen it, they want to see it more and more. The story is about a little boy who is bullied by the "big kid" in the neighborhood and after he is picked on, he turns his anger towards the ants in the yard. The ants wind up teaching him that he can do anything he wants to do, and being small makes no difference. My older grandson loves the part where he finds out what he is eating, and what he thought was a feast, is actually the remains of what a caterpillar has eaten for breakfast. He also enjoys grandma losing her teeth, and he looks at me after she drops her teeth in the drain and in the yard every time. We both laugh because he knows that it can happen to me too. Its a fun story for all, including grandma. The cast is: Julia Roberts as Hova; Nicolas Cage as Zoc; Meryl Streep as Queen; Paul Giamatti as Stan Beals and Zack Tyler as Lucas Nickle (Peanut). Lily Tomlin is Mommo (Grandma). The story was written by John A. Davis and John Nickle and directed by John A. Davis.

Love this movie

My 3 very soon to be 4yr old grandson really likes this movie. He has watched it 20 times or more. Plus his old Pop Pop(Me) can handle watching it with him. Unlike some other movies.

Ho scoperto solo quando ho provato a vederlo che non veniva supportato dal lettore ed ho scoperto é visibile solo in USA e in Canada. Sul DVD é scritto espressamente non è vendibile fuori da questi Stati. Mi chiedo come sia possibile sia potuta avvenire una simile vendita in territorio Italiano. Poco più di 8 euro buttati perché mi sono accorta del problema al rientro dalle ferie ma oltre il limite dato per il reso. Esperienza molto negativa.

Ich habe den Animationsfilm "Lucas, der Ameisenschreck" gekauft, da ich öfter Kinder zu Besuch habe. Fand ihn dann aber selbst auch ganz süß gemacht, vor allem der vermittelte wertschätzende Umgang mit Tieren. Die Kinder fanden ihn durchweg gerne geschaut.

Hab den Film gekauft, da ich oftmals meine Neffen zu besuch habe und denen dann mal einen Film reinlegen kann. Für den Preis von 6€ konnte ich da nicht widerstehen.Film:Sehr netter Kinderfilm in dem auch die Botschaft versteckt ist, das man Tiere, besonders Insekten nicht quälen soll. Kann allerdings nicht mit den absoluten Kinderfilmklassikern aus dem Hause Disney oder auch Pixar (Findet Nemo, Ratatouile, etc.) konkurrieren. Auch die Animationen liegen nicht auf Pixar Niveau, aber das weiß man wohl vorher.HD-DVD:Sicherlich geht es bei Animationsfilmen noch besser, aber die Detailschärfe und der Kontrast sind sehr gut und deutlich über Durchschnitt. Ich würde ihn sogar besser einstufen als Lissi und der wilde Kaiser und etwa auf dem Niveau von Ice Age. An Ratatouile, Cars oder Shrek3 reicht er jedoch nicht heran.

Film veramente bello per i piccoli, gradevole anche per i genitori. Un po' sulla linea del più famoso bags life non sfigura e mantiene una buona originalità con una trama un po' meno articolata. Simpatici tutti i personaggi e valido il messaggio rivolto ai piccoli del rispetto per gli insetti e la condanna della prepotenza. I colori e la definizione in bluray spettacolari ad un prezzo onestissimo. Il resto lo fa Amazon con il solito servizio impeccabile.

Mi era arrivato 1 dvd con 1 piccolo difetto ma il venditore è stato gentilissimo e mi ha subito mandato un secondo dvd che funziona.Sono rimasta molto contenta del venditore.consiglio questo negozio
