I love these - they are perfect for my garden! I bought both the vegetable and herb stakes. I wanted to mark what I planted with something permanent (not a little plastic stick) but my picky girlfriend doesn't care for most of the "tacky" stakes on the market. These are subtle and stylish, made of reclaimed slate with classy lettering but they don't look too feminine. The reclaimed nature of the slate means that each stake is unique. I also have to comment on the packaging - well-wrapped in thick plastic to protect them during shipping but once out of the plastic, each bunch of stakes is neatly wrapped in brown paper and tied with twine. The presentation is nice enough to use for gifts (thinking about Mother's Day here).
