Updated. Broke after about 2 months, was eventually sent replacement.
Update 3/27/19: About 2 weeks after posting this review, Metrotec responded to my email and asked for my tracking number. Luckily, I still had it (I surprised myself). They apologized and told me that they had mixed my return up with another and then sent me a replacement. I tried it today and it works. I'm changing my review score from 1 (assuming it keeps working) because it works fine for its intended purpose but the one broken unit, cost of shipping and long delay before being replaced definitely brings it down from where it would be otherwise. Hopefully it is an exception to the usual process, as they said.Original 1 star review:I received this pressure washer and used it for light to medium home chores (cleaning the deck, helping with car washing, stripping some moss off exterior walls) for about 2 months. During that time it worked to my expectations for an entry-level power washer. After those two months or so it failed- would not start, engine seemed to have died. It's not my first pressure washer so I know I didn't do anything unusual to it (like try to turn it on without water, store it improperly, etc) and that the issue was in the washer, not with my power or water supply. The Amazon warranty was up by the time it died but I tried to make use of the warranty repair. The customer service rep had me send it in, at my expense- that's another $36 on top of the $117 I paid for the unit. It's now 2 months later and I still haven't received a working unit, and soon I'm just going to have to buy another one. I emailed the customer service dept about a week ago and they haven't bothered getting back to me.I'll update this if they ever send one back to me but right now I'm out over $150 for nothing so I recommend looking elsewhere for a washer. It's true that sometimes a bad one goes out, but having to pay $35 for their mistake and not even receiving a replacement or fixed unit back is unreasonable.

Great design, great value, easy to store
Great value for the cost. I wanted a washer for general home cleaning. I didn't want to risk damaging surfaces, yet needed a reasonable amount of pressure to clean my concrete drive, etc. This turned out to be perfect. Some time ago I had a small Karcher washer with a rotating turbo nozzle, which was very effective, so I was glad to find this washer came with one.I particularly like the compact design with stowage for the long cord and hose. It stores well on a shelf in my mini Rubbermaid shed- which is really an oversize deck box.Time will tell how long the pump will last, but being that I intend to use this 3 or 4 times per year, I have no reason not to trust I'll get 5+ years of good service from it. At $20 per year, it's a no-brainer purchase.

Light ad the best for home concret and deck cleaning
The media could not be loaded. After construction all the driveway and deck was full of concrete and compound that was stuck for the last few months and was looking forward to get it clean .At the beginning wanted to rent from Home depot but it cost around the same and from my experience decks and concrete keep getting dirty over time so decided to buy one. Because I know I wont use it often size was a big decision so I looked for small but powerful pressure washer .This one was amazing I attached pictures of before and after plus a video of how easy and slick they made it .You need to know how to use it but after so many pressure washers I used that was by far the easiest one .It has few attachment and you need to make sure not to clean siding with concrete one or you will damage your house but the concrete attachment was amazing for cleaning the concrete.I didnt get a chance to use it with soap so maybe it's even better with that .The worst thing was to clean the composite deck as it has design and i spent 30 dollars on different cleaning stuff to try and nothing works and this worked like a charm .The best of all that it's all stored like a little box no bigger than tool box so I can put it anywhere until next time .By far one of my best purchases

A well earned 4 stars, price pushed it to 5 stars.
When I first used this power washer, I thought "what a toy", but then I realized I have been using 10 hp gas power-washers. No there is not a comparison, but for a $100 home electric, it does all I need. If I must power wash the house I will rent one as I did before.I am going to list the cons first as there are only a couple. First, the hoses (electric & power) are next to impossible to roll up tight enough to fit back in the compartments designed to hold them. The second con, you must change nozzles to soap down, them change again to power wash. That is right you do not power soap, the soaping is just normal hose pressure. Now the pros,,,, for a hundred bucks this is a jewel to have around the house. It packs tight, fits on a shelf in the garage, does a decent job on small jobs. Being electric no need to have all the hassle of gas and maintenance. It has a very generous 35 ft electric cord. That is fantastic!A few inches from the nozzle it will clean a path about 1-2 inches wide. That is not wide enough to be serious, but like I said good enough for those grease spills on the wood deck, or car drips on the drivewayI saw more expensive electric, perhaps addresses the changing nozzle hassle.
