Holt Environmental Science: Active Reading Workbook 1st Edition

Supplement curriculum

Very happy with the Holt Environmental Science Text Book and it's accompanying work book (we bought both separately). We used this as a High School Enviromental Science Curriculum with our home-schooled teen children. I recommend using both the text and workbook in conjunction with each other (sold separately). The work book is useless without the text book, but the text book is perfectly good by itself.

So far, I like it, but I can't find the answers. Is there a separate book? I have the teacher's manual for the text book, but I don't see it in there either.

A little too old school, even for a veteran teacher. The passages are too short and the questions too basic for reading across the curriculum. This might be good for ESL or middle school, but too basic for even my lowest readers in the high school.

The cover is Holt Environmental Science Active Reading workbook. I noticed when I went to copy the first chapter's text prep that the content did not look like Environmental Science. Then I noticed that the interior page says it's the test prep for Physical Science...NOT Environmental Science, even though the cover is Environmental Science. I'm not happy that I spent $23 on a book that is misadvertised.
