Big SkinnyWomen's Slimvelope Tri-Fold Checkbook, Holds Up to 40 Cards

The colors are not as bright as they appear online. This is the electric purple color. It’s definitely purple, and a really pretty color. I am thankful it isn’t as bright as the product photos suggest. Makes it easy to carry all of my necessary cards, keeps it thin & lightweight.

I had a checkbook Big Skinny years ago & loved it but decided to try a different wallet style. Forgetting the amazingness of Big Skinny, I have carried a huge zippered wallet ever since. Boy did I make a mistake!I couldn't remember the name of this company until I came across it while looking for ANYTHING to get the behemoth wallet out of my bag. As soon as this came in the mail I tore into it & have been loving the freedom of a lighter bag.Con: This is really NOT a huge deal but the snap is a little small so it is a little finicky to snap shut but it really isn't a big deal. Also, I do wish they offered more color/pattern choices but I love this beautiful reddish-pink color because I can easily spot it in my bag.😉Pros:Very lightweight & slim, even when fully of 75 million cards & coins.Plenty of little pockets to hold everything you could think to add to your wallet.Sturdy. As I mentioned, I had a similar style years ago & my son is still using it now with very little sign of wear. This new one is just as well made....if not better.

In an attempt to lighten the weight of my purse, I realized that the majority of the weight came from my big, zip-around wallet. Removing that heavy thing made a significant difference in lightening the load I carried, so I decided to look for a thinner, lighter wallet to replace it. On my search for thin wallets, I came across this beautiful thing and was amazed (but a bit incredulous) of the wonderful reviews. Ladies and gentlemen... I. LOVE. THIS. WALLET! The Skinny Women's Slimvelope Tri-Fold carries all the same credit cards and business cards, cash and coins of my old wallet, but most certainly does NOT carry the heavy weight! (I did purge some unnecessary receipts and other unneeded cards). This wallet is skinny, light, smooth and lovely ~ goes well with all purses and is truly a great product. It is one of the thinnest items in my purse now and has made a big difference in lightening the weight. Very happy with this purchase!

I bought my first Big Skinny several years ago and fell in love with the fact that it will store so much and remain thin. I will never use another type wallet as long as Big Skinny's are available! Top notch, well made, durable and offered in a variety of styles and colors. Couldn't ask for more!

Just enough pockets and slots. Nice and slim. My other style skinny wallets lasted me a long time and this seems the same.

Love the brand, this design is ok. PLEASE IMPROVE THE MAGNET-SNAP CLOSURES! I love the Big Skinny wallets in general. The thing that would make them perfect is a magnet-snap that really holds. I’ve had 4 of their wallets over the past 6 years. All the magnet-snaps open freely which is annoying in a purse especially if you’re a Mom.

After years of carrying around a beautiful but very heavy pocket book, I decided I deserved something lighter, I needed something that didn't make my airbag light go on in the passenger seat, I needed something that wouldn't make people question if I carried rocks, I needed something that didn't resemble a flowery weapon.Seriously, I carry too much crap. And then whenever I would downsize my handbag, I carried less stuff, but my wallet was still insanely heavy. It was pretty, but it was just so bulky and heavy. No matter how much fewer stuff I opted to carry, my wallet was holding me back. I was at a State fair and I saw these wallets that were the lightest most practical wallets. I balked at the price. Not kidding, I love a great deal, and I find paying full price for almost anything, painful.I went home and looked them up without the pressure of the sales person, I still balked. Several months later, my mother who has been having terrible shoulder pain, lifted my person and geared up. It was really that heavy. She encouraged me to lighten my purse load. I did buy a light small purse, and I knew that if I kept my wallet, it would be the only thing I could fit in the bag. I bought the Big Skinny wallet. I love it. I really, really love it. I can fit all my old stuff at about a quarter of the weight and space. I love it. In my old wallet, I still had like 15 store cards and rarely used credit cards that didn't fit, so I left them in a purse pocket. This smaller wallet, fit all my cards, money, pictures of my adorable sulking teenagers, change, ids (real and imagined), my insurance cards, bank cards, and that little warning card I carry that says I am exposed to zoonotic diseases - and it isn't hidden in my wallet, but right on top, so if I come down with some zoonotic disease the hero who looks to see who I am will also know how to help me.Basically, I love this wallet. The name tag, the material, the color doesn't bother me. It is worth every cent, and I really love it. Which I say every time I pull it out of my bag.I chose red because - well - I still own a few cavernous bags, and red is easy to spot in a darkly lined purse.Oh, and my passenger airbag light does not go off now when I flip my bag onto the seat.Over two years later, I still love my wallet and wish I had a rational reason to replace it, but I don't, so pick a color you like, it will last forever.
