Modibodi Women's Period-Leak Lace Boyleg-Light

First off: if you own a pair of Modibodi, it's important to note when buying from Amazon that Amazon's US sizing is 2 sizes up from Modibodi's. This led to a LOT of frustration and a few returns until I was able to get the size I'm used to wearing from Modibodi. In other words, if you want a Modibodi size 8, order a size 4 US. If you order an 8, you'll get a size 12.Look-wise: serviceable panties, nothing special, but I was stoked to see the pink and coral colors (thus my Amazon purchase). However, considering what they are, the fact that they do just look and feel like panties is a huge plus. I didn't buy them to make my butt look cute, I bought them so I could stop dealing with half of the annoyance of menstruation. Some pairs are cuter than others, YMMV.As for wearing the panties themselves - life changer. I now own several pair and wear one for the day, change into a new pair at night. I can't say that I've never had a leak, but it's no worse than any issue I've had with pads and it's very rare. On the risk of running TMI, I am not a heavy bleeder but I am inconsistent - sometimes its worse than others and I don't change up what I'm wearing to accommodate that. I find these work just as well, if not better than pads and are 100x more comfortable.Maintenance, washing, and further TMI: Hand-wash in cold, then throw them in the washer in a delicates bag, hang dry. It's kept my first three pairs going solid for almost a year. They DO have a slight odor - considering what's sitting in them for hours a day, this shouldn't surprise you, and if it does, then now you know. Again, nothing I would consider worse than your average pad (and let's get real, the scented ones don't do a whole lot for the whole "freshness" business anyway). I wouldn't wear them as long as a standard pair of panties because I feel they require a wash quicker than that to prevent them from getting a bit gross - 12 hours max, and even that might be pushing it for some girls. Can't speak for tampon users, who might have a different experience overall. At the very least, it's a better cross over for ladies who use pads. I am much more comfortable and confident in the panties, and have a lot less worry when I gym that I'm going to dislodge something while doing something vigorous.I can't recommend these enough. I haven't tried other brands, Modibodi was my first, and I see no reason to branch out since I'm satisfied and comfortable in the (now dozen) pairs of these I have from Modibodi.

The inside portion doesn't quite come up far enough but I think they will work with just a small panty liner. I prob should have sized up

Works as i hoped they would. Super soft!!!! Fit is a little snug but they are really flattering. A seam came undone about an inch the time i washed (following care instrustions) which is why im rating 3 stars. Hoping it is just a fluke manufactioring error.

I can guess what you are thinking, "What? Pay $28 for ONE pair of undies? Are you freaking crazy?" Ladies, do it! You won't regret even one of those 28 dollars spent, and here's why. With these super-soft panties, you NEVER have to stress your period again and you never have to buy another pantyliner as long as you own these undies. No, you can't free flow in them (Ugh, who would want to?), but these are AMAZING back-ups for the menstrual cup, tampons, and are more than adequate for the pre-post spotting that happens every month. (I seriously wish I would have had these in high school, so many embarrassing moments would have been avoided.) I hate that it took me until age 40 to figure out how to get through my period each month without the hassle, but now I tell all my friends about Modibodi panties so they too can experience stress-free periods.The only things you'll ask yourself after trying them are: "When can I buy more?" and "Why did I wait so long to try them?"PS- These are my fifth pair purchased, I am a forever-user.
