Vet ClassicsPain Plus Extra Strength Health Supplement for Dogs - 120 Soft Chews

I looked at a few products before I landed on this one. I highly recommend Pain Plus. This product is simply amazing, my dog is 5 ish years old and was already lethargic and gimpy. She's a pure bred GSD and was always an energetic pup, she would pull me, like a sled dog, while I was on my mtn bike. As she got older she used to walk slowly and didn't really seem too interested in playing ball or even going for a short walk. I started out giving her 2-3 per day and now she only gets 1, because that's all she needs now. She shows no signs of pain and gets excited and whines with anticipation when it's time to go out. She's like a puppy again, play bows and prancing when we get to the field, she chases after every ball and hates when it's time to go home. I highly recommend this product it changed my dogs life.

Works fine and gave my Lab plenty of relief from her pain but it turned out that she had an allergic reaction to the medication that was just her particular reaction to it. I had used the medication prior to these chews and she didn’t seem to have any issues with it but this particular chew didn’t agree with her and loosened her stool and she broke out on her stomach. Nothing bad but I decided to stop giving it to her. However, it sure helped her pain level to be much lower than without and I must reiterate that this was just my dog’s particular condition.

This is going to be a strange review. First, this is a good product. It is very effective for my senior border collie who had difficulties getting-up and managing stairs. She has been on 3 half-tabs a day for at least a year and now gets around pretty well. It has also proven effective at lessening the pain of a "hot spots" outbreak on my young BC mix. Now for the downside report. I have been a user of this product for several years now and have always found the product to be consistent is quality....except for the most recent 2-3 bottles. Beginning with the last few bottles, the scored-tablets will randomly break into dust and shards when trying to break the tablets on the score line. And the most recent bottle arrived with half of the tablets already broken into dust and small shards. When you need "half" tablets it becomes too problematic to figure out how much of the "dust and shards" you need to have the equivalent of half of a tablet.I sincerely hope the production line problems can get resolved because I really want to continue to use this product. You never want to stop using a product that you find helpful. Amazon was good to take back the bottle of pre-damaged tablets and replace it with another one. Hopefully this most recent experience was a production mistake that slipped by quality control.As an alternative for the manufacturer: They could offer a coarsely powdered version of this product and supply a measuring scoop for whole and half doses.

My dog takes a short nap after getting her Pain Plus. She plays hard and then her hips bother her. After taking Pain Plus she’s ready to go again after her quick rest.

My 14 year old lab and cattle dog take it and within an hour or two it really helps. I do wish they made a powder as the cattle dog/ dingo won’t take the tablets. I have to soak and crush beforehand and add to something really tasty to get it down him. But especially for him, it does make him feel so much better in about an hour. I do give more than recommended dose and twice a day in order to see results, but hey, they’re 14 and feeling better is worth it. If I feel it’s to the level of quality of life I won’t hesitate to put them down but they now seem to enjoy themselves so much I know it’s not time. This product is the best pain relief I have tried and I’ve tried everything four stars and up

Neither of my two dogs will eat these, even when crushed and mixed with food and or completely covered in ground meat pb or cheese. Being in the canine field for over 30 years I’ve tried every trick I know. I refuse to force feed them. Wasted my money this time but never again. I couldn’t be more dissatisfied with this product..

A friend recommended this for our 14-year-old lab/retriever. She is definitely in pain in her hips and back legs. Our neighbor, who is a vet came over and suggested prescriptions at this point. Our dog likes to eat them so she finished off the container, but we’ve moved to prescriptions. This company has excellent customer service which is a rare find lately on Amazon. Thank you! 🙏 🐾

This is a fabulous product. I'm so grateful. I have adopted a 14 year old miniature poodle that came to me because my cousin passed 5 years ago and the family was no longer able to care for him. He was in very bad shape. Broke my heart to see him in tremdous pain. I started giving him 2TB collagen daily as well as liquid glucosamine with MSM for pets but as you know it takes a while for it to work. I found this product after much research in hopes it will give relief sooner. After 4 days I noticed a difference in his walk and by 7-8 days he was playing and have a pep in his step. It's been about a month and it's nice to see him running or walking quickly. I don't allow him to over do it but it's great that he is able to keep up with my other dogs and have a life again. Because isn't that's what it's all about. The quality of life you have left. I am now going to reduce him from 2 tabs daily to 1 tab daily and watch carefully. I think now he can enjoy our outings and adventure out more. Great stuff for sure and he lives going out instead of sleeping all day from the pain.
