Update: I am so surprised!!! Got a package today with a new set of candles! That is some service! They must have read my review and sent out a package before i even returned the old set. I'm very impressed and happy with these. They look so real and as bright as real candles. I think these would make great gift ideas. So easy with them being solar. When it gets dark outside they all just come on. I'm unable to download a picture of my outside lantern shining at night.I ordered a set and loved them. So real looking, with subtle flickering. So I decided to order a second set. I have them indoors, or use them in a latern outside, so they are protected from any weather.. In the second set, one isn't working. You can't open the candle to check the battery, because it's sealed. I tried contacting the vendor and you get directed to Amazon. So i'm going to have to go through the hassle of repacking these and driving them to a store that takes returns.

These candles are great. They have a subtle flicker to them, and have a white natural glow to them as opposed to other candles that look more orange. The solar part works great and they absorb the sunlight during the day that allows them to stay lit all night. Customer service was also great, as I reached out after one candle didn’t work, and Carmen along with other customer service workers quickly resolved my issue by sending me new candles that arrived very fast. They were very kind and helpful, and the candles work and look great, I highly recommend them!

UPDATE:10 of the 15 candles purchased (5 sets of 3) are no longer working. I live in Southern California, so rain is rare, but one storm came through and now nearly every candle has rusted inside and will no longer charge. The only ones surviving are ones that were completely enclosed in lanterns that are under our pergola - although they have evidence of water inside and rush is beginning. Definitely NOT waterproof. Very disappointing that after just a few months two thirds of these have failed spectacularly.Do not purchase!!****I've bought 5 sets of these (3x4/5/6 Inch) to go into my collection of lanterns around my yard. I searched every store for months to find solar candles that have this type of shape/flame design, so when I found these I was super excited. At the time, there were no reviews so I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best and was really thrilled when they all worked out of the box, and even after a few overcast days, still lit up and flickered in the evening just like real candles.Downside: The description states they are waterproof, but some of the ones I've received are not. 3 of them (two 6 inch and one 4 inch, so from different boxes) have water inside after a little rain - I can hear it sploshing around inside - and sadly are no longer working. I have kept them outside with the hopes that the water would evaporate and that they'd start working again, but after 5 days of warm sunny weather, no luck so far...As for the running time the description clearly states "working time up to 25-30 hours after fully charged." Well, that's not quite true. Even after being out in full sun all day, they start fading after 5-6 hours, with all of them going out by hour 8, so I have no idea how anyone would get them to work for 25hrs. Although I don't really need them to last all night, it would be nice if they did last a little longer.I've only had these candles for two months, so it's disappointing that 20% of them are already not working, which is almost $30! If the waterproofing seal could be a little better, and the longevity of the 'flame' would last a little longer, then I'd have given these 5 stars and would definitely have purchased more, but sadly I've knocked a star off as they just don't quite live up to the description.If you're keeping them out of the rain, they I'm sure there wouldn't be any problem and I would recommend these solar candles, although with the knowledge that they'll only be alight for a few hours.

These worked great for a while, steady long lasting light. But over time they've become water-logged which I guess is why only one is working now and it only burns for a few hours. Can't find a way to open them and let the water out. Can't shake it out through the top either so it must be a slow seeping that occurred.

They are very realistic looking. Not a bad price compared to what I have seen in the stores. The fact that you get 3 in different sizes, is a plus. They are rather light weight but decent quality. I do wish they came on at dusk like a regular solar light but the off/on switch is simple to use and should help preserve the battery life. I would recommend better packaging so it doesn’t get damaged in transit. All in all great looking product and adds that charm I was looking for on my patio. May purchase more.

I wanted to give a 5 star rating but after only five weeks, one of the candles stopped working. Its dry in AZ so no rain, in full sun and not moved since i placed them outdoors. I can’t return because i missed the deadline by one week. So disappointed. I really love the way they look and no batteries to mess with but if they don’t work, its not worth it.

Well they look nice and worked well for a little while... They're around 45 days old and two of the three are waterlogged and no longer work... These are not waterproof... If the seller would please reach out to me I would like to do an exchange. Thank you
