Great price, great product. Very comfortable to hold and use. They throw a lot of sparks and I have used mine frequently.

Definitely very affordable and getting the most bang for the buck, unlike some ferrorods... For $20 you get two 6inch by 1/2inch ferrorods that's $10 a piece which is a bargain when you see other ferrorods of smaller size going for nearly $14 to $25. Of course this thing won't be small and compact and I get that but for most people I think this is worth it for hiking, camping, preping. Just attach this to your bag or something and you're all set. Overall I'm impressed by the performance of this ferrorod. I give this a 4 out of 5 stars mainly cause one came a bit pitted which is signs of corrosion, might be better if they bagged it up in platsic or coat it in oil or something next time.

The media could not be loaded.  Just got it today and tried it with my Mora Companion, dymn bearly any sparks, use my leatherman Wave+ saw and wow it threw a ball of molten metal a good 5ft landed on the ground and was still sizzling, so i tweeked my mora (grind the back spine with a 90 degree edge) and wow it shoots out molten sparkling balls, one strike with the new 90 degree edge on my mora and the feather sticks flame on like the fantastic four fire dude, make sure u have a nice 90 edge on ur knife spine and you will fall in love with this big black stick, just watch the video 🤣

These are some of the best ferro rods i have ever used for a fraction of the price as a single rod you get from the much more expensive brands

The cost is low enough you can buy multiples. Stick em in the car, in your backpack, in your garage, in your bug out bag. These ferro rods make plenty of hot sparks, they are thick enough & long enough to last for thousands of fire starts. I also recommend the shorter 2 pack version they make great keychains!

These are nice ferro rods. Drilled for para cord. Comes in the small cloth bag I can use for something. And I like supporting this small company/brand. They throw great sparks with a good scraper anyway.

Shipping was right on.Disappointed as this does throw sparks, except just at the end of the rod. They don't go very far as other fire steels. And yes I scrapped off the coating and used a good carbon steel striker.Will not buy again. There are many more rods out there that throw tons of sparks.Changed striker and lot's of sparks! Will buy more

Everything shown up on time and was packaged well. Spent a few minutes testing both with various tinders to see what type of rod they were (usually hard or soft depending on Iron/magnesium content). They appear to be the softer type which is preferable as they tend to throw big sparks that burn for a few seconds which greatly increases the chances of igniting less then perfect tinder. Getting 2 rods for around $20 is a good deal.I'd definitely recommend these.Thanks to Chris and everyone else for making these available on Amazon.
