ESTEEZ Women's Cotton Pencil Skirt - Modest Below Knee Length- Opaque - Chicago

I bought 2 of these, both in xlarge, the black and the burgundy Heather. (5'9 185lbs 33 waist 41 hips The black came in first and is super comfortable. It is double layered jersey so it doesnt show every lump, bump, and line, you won't need a slip, but also isn't a true black. It's definitely a casual skirt, which is fine for me, but if you try to dress it up, you may run into the blacks not matching.The material, according to the tag, is 95% cotton ans 5% spandex. Youre SUPPOSED to hang dry, but since I had the burgundy one coming, I decided to be bold and threw the black one in the dryer. After a normal machine wash and dry, there was very minimal shrinkage. The pictures show the black one after being dried compared to the burgundy that had just come in the mail. About 1/4 inch in width and 1/4 inch in length.These skirts are great, my only complaint would be, like everyone else, is the waist band is loose. I have more square hips, so it still works for me, but it definitely feels like it wants to slip but for the most part, it stays put.It does hold its shape and doesn't get all stretched out, im 5 9, and it hits just below my knees.My biggest advice would be if you're small in the waist with a booty or hips, I would size down, if youre a bit straighter through, and between sizes, get the smaller. I got my normal size but im left wondering if I should have sized down. I'm going to try another one in a large and see what happens and will update.Hope this helps

My go-to default outfit is a black jersey skirt, t-shirt, and sandals... it's surprising how difficult it is to find a comfortable, well made jersey skirt. This skirt is that.It's a perfect true black. There is no shininess in the fabric. There is no see-through. It is a double layered so there is good cellulite coverage. It's not too heavy and not too light. The fabric keeps it's shape after an all-day wear. The waist band is comfortable. The length is perfect! I am 5'11" and the hem hits directly under my kneecaps... when I sit it doesn't ride up. I wear a size 16 and the XL fit perfectly.I have purchased and sewn dozens and dozens of jersey skirts over the years and this is, by far, my favorite. I'm going to buy a dozen more and live a happy life.

While this skirt is the same fabric quality and craftsmanship I've come to expect, the size is drastically off. The skirt is tagged as being a size L, as ordered. As you can see in my picture, it is significantly smaller than the other size L I have ordered before. While I can wear it because it stretches, I can't wear it as intended because it is so narrow through the legs as to change my stride. I haven't decided yet to exchange, but I am concerned about the controls in place in the manufacturing process.

Bought XL in Gray - Love it. Comfortable. Soft. Not too tight. Nicely fitted. Didn’t need a slip. Wore it to the office and wondered if the seat would get saggy, as jersey often does, from having to sit most of the day. Nope. Still looked good at the end of the day. Wish it came in white.

The only reason I'm not giving this skirt a 5 star is because I'm not positive how the size up would fit. I ordered a medium. I'm usually in a large in pencil skirts but due to a lot of the reviews saying it ran big I decided to go with a medium. Plus, most colors were out in the size large. I'm 5'1 and 140 lbs. I'm pretty small everywhere but I'm VERY curvy/thick in the thighs and rump so pencil skirts are hard for me to find that fit ok.So back to this skirt. I loved it. Just wish my size was available in this color and a few other colors. The material was nice. It wasn't see through, which is great because I hate wearing a slip. The length was nice. I prefer a few inches below the knee and that was perfect. I would love to try this skirt in a large if more larges become available.

Unfortunately I have to return the skirt. I’m 5’10” & ordered L to be safe. But L is too big overall in the fit but it’s barely covering my knees so too short unfortunately. So if you’re tall I don’t recommend it! But if you’re “normal” height to short it should be great & fit true to size! I hope this brand has other skirts hat will fit me better. Other than this I do recommend the seller because they ship super fast.

The material is on the thin side, definitely not worth $24. I ordered a size up because I didn’t want it skin tight in my behind. It ended up being pretty snug in the butt and hips but loose in the stomach area. Since the material is thin it shows underwear lines etc. I’m going to keep it to wear with longer shirts because I really like the color (coral).

I love the quality! So soft and thick and definitely will buy again! Perfect length goes a little below my knees when I put it at my hips. I love it! Just as pictured. Great fit too! Super stretchy I just wish the waste band was more firm(it’s loose like the whole skirt is instead of having elastic or anything in it to help keep it in place)Thick material but movable and breathable and all the seems look great!
