If you compare the functionality to other radios in this price range there is no comparison!
For the money I don’t know if it gets any better. There is a lot of functionality for the price. We recently bought an older conversation van for family trips and did a audio/video makeover on it. This Apple radio ready head unit is priceless. I can use my navigation from my phone and it cuts in over the music and gives full map on the display. I am also able to start movies from my phone or DVD player to play on larger tv’s in the back. The back up camera function is also extremely helpful when driving a full size van.

It didn’t meet all features they describe
on the post they said is apple play and is not true, supposedly the offer an model that work but I received model AVH-1300NEX that is not ApplePlay ready

Easy install and Sounds great
This head unit fits perfectly in my 02 Mazda Protege5 Wagon. The 13-band equalizer is amazing once you get it set properly. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a awesome head unit. It was super easy to install and it sounds amazing.

Nice unit
So far so good. I used the Meastro system to hook it up and keep all standard controls like steering wheel controls and it worked great.

Best for the price
I received the package damaged with the side of the radio smashed in. Luckily everything still worked. It’s a good radio for the price. Cheapest I could find with the apple CarPlay features.

Suddenly stopped working
Bought this a little over six months ago and it was working great then suddenly stopped working all together. No sound and a blank screen. Was hoping I could contact the seller to try and rectify this situation

Hardware is good, Android integration is all but useless.
If you're an Android user, pay the extra couple bucks to get the 2330NEX instead. I wish I hadn't overlooked the fact that this only offers AppRadio for bringing in GPS, and other smartphone functionality.I have AndroidAuto on another vehicle, and thought this would work similarly. It does NOT, and I regret taking so long to actually install this unit that I am past the return period. Pioneer's AppRadio makes this unit little more than a slightly glorified Garmin.The stereo itself works great. DVD is nice, audio is fantastic, installation wasn't to difficult once I got the right harness adapter for my vehicle. Audio for the radio and Bluetooth work great. However Pioneer really dropped the ball even bothering with this AppRadio crap.
