Beginner Friendly
As someone who’s wanted to learn to dance with one of these for years, I finally caved and bought one. I’d say for the price and quality, this is a good fit for first-time users. It’s a process to get it slick, but easy to care for and charge. The different color settings are great too for switching patterns in between moves, love it

Good If You Are Not Ready For The Expensive Version
Not a lot of fibers nor many light modes but it is a good beginner rope light. I feel like I need to add some kind of lubricant to the fibers though so it slides around better. Not sure what would be safe to use.

Worked to make cool stars for kids project
This turned out great for my needs, which was to modify it to make stars for a child’s class project. The handle is strong and seems well-made the switch cycle through a number of programs. The battery lasts overnight and may last longer. I just didn’t test it. But some of the fibers are short and some are long so if you have aspirations of using this on a larger area, it may not work. But otherwise, it is awesome.

Not functional long term
I was so excited for this purchase, but after i used the battery once, it would only light up on the charger. no matter how long i left it charging, once i took it off it wouldn’t turn on. I do get this product was cheap, but kinda disappointed i only got one proper use of it.

It's okay
When I first got my fiber optic light whip, I was extremely excited, but when I started using it, something felt off and then I noticed that the head where the fibers attach to the handle there isn't a bearing where the head can rotate so doing specific moves like spinning the whip around your wrist isn't possible with it it just gets tangled. The colors are extremely bright and I'm fairly pleased with the color options and patterns that are available, however it is very thin and very long. I did have to trim the ends of mine but if you're looking for a costume accessory or just to simply practice some basic moves it'll do the job.
