Gpel Galaxy Note 8 Screen Protector, Tempered Glass, Premium Japanese Asahi Glass, Black - Easy Installation

I highly recommend this screen protector. I have tried many screen protectors for the Note 8 and this is by far the best one of them all. The screen protector is crystal clear and with no touch sensitivity issues. It fits very well and looks great. I had to order another one for spare, because I liked it so much. I also had the one for the S8 Plus and it was just as good. I installed it with a case on, just to line it up correctly. It is case friendly. I am using it with Tech21 Evo Tactical case and the Samsung rugged case. Looks and fits great with either case. I contacted Gpel because the first one I bought cracked after I dropped my phone on a concrete and it only had a little scratch on the corner. The screen protector did a wonderful job protecting my screen, no damaged at all. They offered to replace my screen protector with no question asked. Great customer service with a high quality product. I am very happy with this screen protector and their customer service.

I don't know why others are having trouble with this protector. I put it on when I got my Galaxy Note 8 last week and don't even notice that it's there. The screen is very sensitive and clear and it seems to be solidly in place. It does a good job of hiding/preventing fingerprints too. It actually seems better than the native screen for that. So far, so good.

The feel and utility of this product are on point BUT installation was a little tricky due to this being the first curved tempered glass screen protector I have tried to put on my device. The bezels on the actual glass protector take a little "fixing" after installation to match up the black bars without screen overlap, etc. Because of this, some dust (floating I assume) adhered to the glue on the black bezels of the actual protector. This has caused a slight "lift" of the protector which has lessened the touch sensitivity. Typing messages is frustrating because of this issue. I would highly recommend the product if you can install in a dust-free environment. Every time I pull my phone out to use it, I hear the screen "pop" from the lift of the protector and it takes a pretty hard finger touch to register in certain areas. I will update this review IF, over time, the protector settles in, but I don't think this will happen due to the dust or residue that stuck while I was trying to get the bezels lined up.TIP FOR INSTALLATION:Purchase an ultra-thin hard case and install before installing the protector. This will ensure proper alignment due to this product not coming with a guide.Like I said, the installation itself was quick and easy. The curves on the protector seem to not entirely cover the entire edge of the right and left of the display but with a case, it doesn't make a big difference.

This screen protector is flawless. This is the first time I’ve used a glass protector, and I’m glad that I tried it out, because It feels and looks very natural. No bubbles, no scratches, no touch interference. I’m very satisfied , but you do have to clean out the screen very thoroughly to make sure nothing gets stuck under there. I would definitely recommend to friends who haven’t used a glass screen protector before.

This is the 3rd brand I have tried. Want/need to find a glass screen protector that has great touch sensitivity. (1st was zagg for note 7 edge) with the zagg i had to push soo hard to register some touches and typing was a nightmare also dust was getting user it somhow. (2nd was G-Color for note 8) same issues as zagg except the dust. (3rd is GPEL for note 8)The GPEL on the other hand is AMAZING! Touch sensitivity is perfect like it's not even there, will defiantly buy it again if/when the time comes and I recommend it if you want great touch sensitivity. Case fitment I don't know about as I'm currently not using a case but will buy the PITAKA case when it's available in mid October.

I had put a 5 star review when I first put my screen protector on. Now, after less than 2 months it has already started cracking and breakinh off. I am at home 90% of the time and I haven't dropped this at all. The worst thing is putting it into my purse. I'm going to have to find a different screen protector, this one is awful.

This was super easy to install, fits so well you hardly know it is on the screen and does not interfere with the sensitivity of the touch screen. Another thing that I really like is it doesn't really smudge or show fingerprints as badly as other glass screen protectors that I have had and does clean easily.UPDATE January 14, 2018 - Unfortunately I have to report that this screen is not holding up. In comparison to other glass screen protectors that I have had on past phones, this screen is definitely not holding up as I would expect. It has several hairline cracks running along the edges and I today I noticed that one corner is really all cracked up. I will be replacing it with one that has a better customer rating.

This screen protector is less than stellar to say the least. I was apprehensive when I ordered it but i felt as though the previous reviews would be a good indication of quality.The Flaws: This screen protector only has adhesive applied on the very edge, leaving a very miniscule but frustrating gap which interferes with the touchscreen input. If you enjoy tapping with "dedication" it will be fine otherwise light swipes will not register with this on. Also the adhesive was not evenly applied to my screen protector which allowed dust to get underneath the protector almost immediately.Overall, I wouldn't purchase this product and the attached photo shows the current status of this product, it was removed after only a few days of use. You can see the adhesive was not perfect to start in the circled area. I noticed this when I first was applying it but figured it would flatten out and apply normally.Hope this helps!
