PowerPad Mosquito Repellent Lamp Refill - (3 count)

This is the one and only product that truly works on mosquitos!! Now that it has been discontinued (go figure!), it is impossible to find refills and when I do find them, they are beyond pricey. What used to cost $5-6 per 3-pack, can now cost $100 per 3-pack! So very sad in this time of West Nile Virus. I have written to the company several times imploring them to reconsider to no avail.The service provided by this supplier was good.

This is a good product. It does keep mosquitoes away from us when we are sitting on our patio (and especially at nighttime). The only thing I dislike is that the refills are expensive, nearly $7 per lamp. That seems a bit excessive. But, the company that makes it (SC Johnson) is based in Finland and apparently does not have a lot of competition.

These work ! We live on the south shore of Long Island near the water. During the summer you will get mauled by mosquitos if you are not wearing repellent and then if you are wearing your repellent they fly within a foot of your face trying to get you. We light this about 15-20 minutes before going out on the deck and it works perfectly. It a bit smoky at first but it works. Hands down this is one of the best repellents. But makes sure you get the POWERPAD Repellent lamp because OFF makes another similar product called the OFF Mosquito Lamp ( which works horrible !) I purchased the Mosquito Lamp by accident ( I thought it was a design update only) and when it wasn't working I read the box and realized they were two different products using two different chemical repellent. Use the POWERPAD and if you have a really super bad mosquito/bug problem, I suggest using the OFF Outdoor Fogger to spray down the area and then after light the POWERPAD.

These work great but you can't get the lantern anymore. Just when you love something they take it away!

Since this product has been discontinued by Off, finding the refills is hit or miss. The seller sent promptly, and the price was reasonable compared to others available. Great product (better than the lamp Off replaced with this lantern ), but I've bought my last refill and on to using more natural products that work almost as well.

After receiving this I was initially upset because I thought I was getting three boxes and only received one. I reached out to the seller who responded quickly and was more than generous in resolving the misunderstanding. Item is great, seller is even better.

I've used these for a couple of years, and they do "OK", but the mosquitos still come around... maybe not as bad, but they're still there.The Off Mosquito coils work better for me, last longer and are less expensive.

These are really good at keeping mosquitos away as long as you are reasonable with your expectations. Can't use once and done, use a couple of days in a row then you should be set for a week or so. Can't really use in open or breezy areas, well you can, but results are going to be very limited I'd think. My use is for a semi enclosed patio area and it works well as I've described.
