Poron PCB Foam 96 Layout, Switch Pads 120Pcs and Sound Dampeners for Custom Keyboard

I added this to my Freebird 60 keyboard between the PCB and the plate, and it made the typing experience feel more premium. I did have to modify the felt layer using some scissors to match my exact layout but nothing to egregious. The stick-on switch pads were a nice addition and gave each switch a slight marble-y sound. Easy install overall.

Bought these because my keyboard had a lot of ting with each click, really ruining the sound. After install, no more ting, and overall sounds way cleaner and thockier than before. About an hour of install, but worth it.

A little difficult to put in but very worth it. Sound dampening has been solid with little to no echo that comes out my keyboard after installing this. The switch pads were a nice extra added on to this

Works just as expected, the keyboard is much deeper sounding now and it's very pleasant.

Fits just right in my royal kludge rk84, good sound damping and even better if you throw some extra poron foam in the case. The switch pads are a nice touch too, although I don’t think they really made that much of a difference.

I bought the foam in hopes that it could be used between the PCB and the plate of my keyboard, and the pads for each individual switch. The pads worked out perfectly and do exactly what they should, but the foam might as well be used as TP.Nothing lines up where it should. I had to make so many extra cuts just to clear the foam from being in the way of the switch holes that I might as well have just cut my own template to begin with. Once I was able to get it placed where it needed to be without inhibiting the switch placement, I realized that the foam is so thick and stiff that it separates the plate and PCB far enough that the pins on the switches don’t sit all the way into their contact holes. So with every press the switch “might” actuate, or it might not. You have to SLAM the keys down in order for them to work 100% of the time.I had to mangle it to make it fit and the pads are already on the board so I can’t return it. It was $3 more for the foam and pads compared to just pads alone so I’ll just eat the $3 and know better for next time.

Item arrived exactly as shown in the photos. As expected, some minor adjustments were needed to clear different type of mounts that are special ti my keyboard. This is a universal product, set your expectations accordingly.I had to shorten the distance between the very top row from the rest. to my surprise, it was PERFORATED to the exact distance i needed! Such a pleasant surprise!My steel plate is now more or less acoustically dead(slight exaggeration). Which was the goal. Switch pads were slightly time consuming but once you find your grove, it goes by quickly.Overall, solid product. Will 100000% purchase again if/when to time comes!

The foam is good and will serve its purpose. The extras are icing on the cake.The real highlight here was the customer service. There was a small problem with my order and the seller quickly and thoroughly went out of its way to fix the problem and maintain customer satisfaction. Good job!
