Pelican95 Quart Elite Cooler

I’ve had this for 3 weeks now and can honestly say, this cooler is the best I have ever owned. Before this purchase, I was going to go with another High-End brand that everyone I am sure thinks about getting first. *cough Yeti cough* Then I watched a video online where this dude does a 5 day challenge on 10 different premium coolers. Pelican came in number one. Sooooo...that’s what I went with, and I am not sorry I did. The cooler came in claiming a 10 day ice longevity. I scoffed because that sounds ridiculous. Well, 10 frick’n days later, I still have ice. Probably like (3) 1gallon freezer bags worth. That’s amazing. The water is still cold as a polar bear’s nutsa...well, let’s just say the water is really cold.I pondered giving it 4 Stars only due to weight. This cooler is really heavy and had to hit the gym double time to get the strength to do it. But did I tell you, I still have ice after 10 days!!!? There is this little cart online that this cooler fits in perfectly that I bought to give my upper body a rest when lugging it around. It’s the cooler cart ice chest wagon by plus. It’s pretty dope too.Anyways, a really good cooler, and a really good workout.Update: 12 days later, here is a picture of the amount of ice left after I drained the water.

This cooler is by far the BEST cooler on the market. True to size, amazing ice retention, less expensive than Yeti. Tried and true company Pelican has been in the business for decades and this cooler is built like a tank. Please remember this cooler is NOT meant to be a “tote” style. It is meant for stationary cooling if items. Cooler is heavy but is done so by design. Non slip feet is awesome in bed of a truck. Highly recommend this brand. Will be buying all pelican brand coolers from here on out

I love the ice retention! We camped in 80 degree weather for 11 days and had cube ice the whole trip. I even let it sit in my garage when we got home to do a thorough test. I was able to keep cube ice 13.5 days. I had frozen two 2.5 gallon water containers and then filled the voids in the bottom with cube ice. Amazing retention! I will actually save money in the long run despite the high purchase price.
