Great to use in DIY shampoo, body wash or conditioners, or as an oral supplement for skin, nails, hair health as well as many other benefits. Heavy alcohol drinkers should be careful as horsetail can lower vitamin B1 concentrations, potentially causing deficiency.

by helping build collagen horsetail can be an asset for a weightlifter.
i got horsetail extract to help increase my body's production of collagen. i believe i have not been getting enough collagen from my diet so this is a way for me to correct that. i am aware of the potential nicotine toxicity of horsetail so i am taking it only once or twice a week, and then only every other week. i'm a weightlifter so joint and bone health is especially important to me. i'm hoping the horsetail will help boost the health of my cartilage and connective tissue. but i want to be cautious and not overdo it.

Flavor is refreshing!
This make a lovely refreshing tea mixed with water. Somewhat like a very mild green tea but I like it better. It takes just a short time to dissolve in a glass of water or can be mixed quickly with a frothier. Good for hair, skin, nails and bones. It only take a 1/4 teaspoon in 16 oz of water to give a moderate dosage of silica/silicon dioxide.

Product was received quickly and on time. The horsetail extract powder is very fine, and mixing 1/8 tsp into a couple ounces of water (or smoothie or other tea) is easy and has a very nice taste. My wife and I both enjoy the taste and look forward to using the product every day. Only 4 stars at this point because it will take a month or two to determine the efficacy of the product - but we are optimistic at this time.
