Q: Why can't you spray the edible part of vegetable plants?

Although OMRI listed Organic and completely safe, Plantskydd sticks very well to plant material, which is why it lasts so long. This can make it difficult to wash off edibles, particularly leafy greens like lettuce and kale etc. which is why the manufacturer does not recommend spraying the edible part of the plants.

Q: is there a concentrate form of this product?

Yes, there is a concentrate form; it is called Plantskydd water-soluble powder. This concentrate powder is made in two sizes (1 lb and 2.2 lb). Please search for Plantskydd water soluble powder to purchase either of these items.

Q: Will other sprays (insecticides, fungicides, fertilizers etc) be effective while using this on rose bushes?

They should still be effective, although it is not known how every substance out there will react alongside Plantskydd. There are a number of farmers mixing it with other herbicides and fungicides and have reported good results, according to the manufacturer.

Q: How long will this keep in the container? Is it good from one season to the next? or do you need to buy new each year?

It should be good for the year after you purchase it. This pre-mixed repellent stores quite well. We would recommend that you keep it away from a really hot storage area however as this could make the product not as effective.
